  • Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Copy as Citation

Thanks Levi et. al, It's too bad to hear that there is no equivalent in Logos. The Replace with Passage Service is a nice option, and thanks for showing it to me. It lacks a feature I often need: when I want to copy and paste a partial verse, or a passage that doesn't line up with verse breaks. I guess I can add this to Feature Requests for Logos 9

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Copy as Citation

Truly, I appreciate the response! These are ways to eventually get the citation to appear, but they're not a simple keyboard shortcut. I'm wondering, does Logos have a keyboard shortcut so that I can copy verse and citation ? In other words, I want to be able to • Highlight a verse • Hit the keyboard shortcut to copy • Hit the keyboard

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Copy as Citation

Thanks again! Yes, I'm aware that I can use the buttons from Copy Center. Two problems with that: 1. It's not a keyboard shortcut. 2. It requires me to keep the CBV panel open and use up screen space. Again, what I'm looking for is a keyboard shortcut that allows me to copy the style I've set up in CBV. I'd be surprised if this doesn't exist (as it

  • Re: Keyboard Shortcut for Copy as Citation

Thanks for the response! I am familiar with the CBV tool — what I'm looking for is a keyboard shortcut that allows me to copy my current Copy Style. The keyboard shortcut for copying-with-no-style is Command-C. What's the keyboard shortcut for copying my Copy Style from the CBV?

  • Keyboard Shortcut for Copy as Citation

Accordance has a "Copy as Citation" option, so that when you paste the copied Scripture passage, it includes the Scripture reference. They have a keyboard shortcut for this: Control-Command-C. Does Logos not have this ability?

  • Re: Bug or Feature? Highlighting while displaying multiple resources.

Strangely, when I try to highlight a resource in Multiple Resource View, the highlighting won't show up. But if I open that same resource on its own, the invisible highlighting that I did over in Multiple Resource view now shows up.

  • Bug or Feature? Highlighting while displaying multiple resources.

I can only highlight one resource while displaying multiple resources (the root resource). I'm using the command-H shortcut. Any idea why?

  • Speedy Logos : quad-core vs. memory boost

I'm in the market for a new computer. Anyone have thoughts on whether I get a quad-core MacBook OR stick with a dual-core, but with increased memory. So, do I spend $1799 on the new 13 MacBook w/ Touch Bar 2.3GHz quad‑core 8th‑generation Intel Core i5 processor ? OR spend $1699 on the non-Touch Bar 13 MacBook 2.3GHz dual-core 7th-generation Intel Core

  • Re: Logos Now Free Books: One Volume From a Set Missing

I sent an email to Customer Support and heard back almost immediately — volume 6 was accidentally excluded. They fixed the problem and it's now eligible for the promotion. Thanks Logos!

  • Logos Now Free Books: One Volume From a Set Missing

It seems that the every other book in the Thomas Boston collection is eligible for the Logos Now Free Book of the Month, except Volume 6. Is this typical? That the entire set, except one volume qualifies for the free book coupon?

  • Re: What Mac do I need to run Logos fast?

I appreciate all the responses. Very helpful. I realize that "fast" is subjective —I don't really care about the difference between the-blink-of-an-eye and half-the-blink-of-an-eye, I just want to have a Mac that is fast enough so I'm not waiting 3 seconds for windows to open and 30 seconds for Passage Guide searches to complete. Again, I realize these

  • What Mac do I need to run Logos fast?

Recently switched over from Accordance — I'm absolutely loving some of the features of Logos, but I'm not loving the speed. I'm not here to complain or question the speed of Logos as an app, I'm just here to try to figure out which Mac I need to own that will run Logos at Accordance-like speeds. And I'm not just talking about searches, I mean

  • Missing Morph Sources?

I'm watching the Morph Query Builder video on this page, https://www.logos.com/logos-pro At 1:19 in the video, he clicks the drop down — when I try the same thing, the only source I show is SBLGNT. I'm sure I have other Morph resources (for instance, I own BHS w/ Westminster Morphology 3.5), but they don't show up anywhere in there. Thoughts?

  • Re: Sources not showing up during Passage Guide

Thanks for the response. I searched both those passages in Passage Guide and turned up nothing. Is it possibly because I don't have any Base Package or Feature Sets? All I've got (currently) is a few lonely resources (like Vos and Turrentin).

  • Sources not showing up during Passage Guide

When I do a Passage Guide search, is there a reason why Turretin's Elenctic Theology and Vos's Reformed Dogmatic don't show up under Systematic Theologies?

Thanks to all who responded, That pretty much answered my questions. I may just start out using my desk top for in depth study and the Mac version for in between and on the go. I would rather use a product like Fusion and keep everything on the Mac but the virus issues make me nervous once I put anything to do with windows on the Mac ; since lack of
  • Can I load windows to a Mac computer and use the windows version of Logos ???? HELP ME!!!

I am going to buy the Logos software FOR SURE but I do not want to purchase the wrong version, or the wrong computer. I have my heart set on a Mac Book Pro for several reasons(Mainly digital recording; Live worship etc.) After some research I get the impression that the windows version out performs the Mac ver.(Is this true?) and can I just use windows
