  • How Do I Sync My Layouts with A20 Alpha?

I see a Sync button on the right side, but I can't seem to get it to do anything. I pulldown Layout and I can't load or update my Named Layout now? I don't see any new layouts in terms of times based on the button spinning so I can't figure out how to update my named layout.

Right, but after I click that sync button and it finished spinning when I pull down the Layout menu, I don't see my current layout, I see a gray blob unlike the other syncs from pre-Alpha 20, etc. ETA: With the older syncs, I can see my columns, etc. With the latest sync I just see all gray with a small white bar on the top left that looks like the

No, Logos 4 in the bar indicating it was indexing but I'm still having problems. So prior to Alpha 20, I would sync on my PC and right click on my named layout and select Update to Current Snapshot. On the Mac since it never synced right for me, I'd have to Load the Layout manual. The right click to load layout doesn't seem to work for me and while

Does the L3 updater simply mean it'll pull down (download) all of the titles that I have a license for without having to go find the CDs and install?

Try this: Stop the Logos Indexer via the Task Manager. From a command prompt run "bitsadmin /reset" without the quotes. Restart Logos. I generally have to do this several times during the install to get it to complete.

  • Sync Problems?

I know there was a problem earlier in the weekend with syncing, but is there a problem with syncing now? I'm on Mac Alpha 20 and it keeps saying there is a problem syncing with the error icon and it says to try again. I've tried it quite a few times without luck and I have Internet access (since I can post this)

I'm on Alpha 21 now and further down on the reading plan but I'm still seeing this problem. Should it be working?

We can implement whatever grade of security and smart synchronization our users want. But my impression is that < 1% of our users care for more security than we presently offer, and the other 99% think that keeping deep

I apologize in advance if my tone comes off wrong, but here goes. I find the term "whine about my purchase" unnecessary and somewhat insulting. It's sort of like me saying that I find some of the people posting on behalf of Logos as "fanboys" and I wouldn't necessarily want them representing my company. My point is that if we're here for a civil discussion

It just seems like ordering a Cadillac with a backhoe

I have it linked to "A" which my ESV bible so as I scroll through it should keep pace with my reading. I have the bibles selected and in the PC, it shows me all the differences between the bible versions whenever I click that tab. I don't actually enter anything in the PC version and sort of thought it was behave the same way in the Mac version. On

I'd probably check your specific manual that came with your machine. I've had multiple MacBook Pros over the years and they've varied somewhat in their handling. I had some systems that recommended a specific conditioning (charge and rundown 2 full cycles before use) and others where they don't. The big reason I check is I've had poor luck with Apple

We'll skip the fact that that solution doesn't seem to work for some people per the other thread but it wasn't hitting the mark on what was requested. [/quote

Sure do, but I thought 10.0 and 10.1 were actually better better than 9 :). 10.3 as you indicated was the best one and then they've gone downhill again. I just think its inconsistent that most Apple people target Windows problems as things they don't see when they did occur and frequently for me. The old BSOD in Windows? Well I get the "Spinning Beach

This appears to be a known problem now. My question is when will it be fixed and released? Unfortunately, for me, losing my place between system makes it really unusable on one of the machines for me. Since the desktop is far more stable for me, that makes my Mac unusable at this time :(.
