They sell software...you purchase said software...end of story.
I really hope you're not speaking on behalf of the company and this is really their position. There's an old saying if you don't take care of the customer someone else will. It's ranked #17 with 165 votes right now. I'm rather hoping if it keeps moving

They work on commission? Hmmm....I didn't realize that. I'll have to make sure I make sure I buy from the people that answer my questions in the future :). Thx!

  • Re: Text Comparison is a "Blank" Screen/Tab?

Ok this is odd. I normally have it smaller than my maximum screen size. When I clicked on the green button to maximize it so I could take a screen shot it shows up correctly. When I "shrunk" it back down with the green button it shows correctly. When I restart it, it works correctly now. So I'm not sure what I fixed but it seems fixed now :).

It still sounds like they want the best of both worlds without any sort of consequence to me. That's probably overstated, but it seems to me you can't have it both ways. You can't say here's a cool feature, but I don't want you to use it to full effect. ie, Notes may be a good example. The security part that I agree with what appears to be said or indicated

I'm on Alpha 21 now and further down on the reading plan but I'm still seeing this problem. Should it be working?

It was working fine for me on Saturday, but last night it started acting up last night and all of those "solutions" don't work for me. Seems to be isolated to the MAC as I can boot up my PC without any problems.

If it is of concern to people, vote on the uservoice suggestion so Logos for it. http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/660833-add-an-option-that-allows-a-user-not-to-upload-the?ref=title

  • Sync Problems?

I know there was a problem earlier in the weekend with syncing, but is there a problem with syncing now? I'm on Mac Alpha 20 and it keeps saying there is a problem syncing with the error icon and it says to try again. I've tried it quite a few times without luck and I have Internet access (since I can post this)

I have it linked to "A" which my ESV bible so as I scroll through it should keep pace with my reading. I have the bibles selected and in the PC, it shows me all the differences between the bible versions whenever I click that tab. I don't actually enter anything in the PC version and sort of thought it was behave the same way in the Mac version. On

  • Text Comparison is a "Blank" Screen/Tab?

I have Logos 4 Mac Alpha 20. I have a Text Comparison screen docked to a tab. It works fine on my PC, but when I click on the tab on the Mac its just a blank screen. No text at all. I saw some other threads with some Text Comparison problems so it sounds like it should work and I'm not seeing any of those other problems. Is this a known problem? The

We'll skip the fact that that solution doesn't seem to work for some people per the other thread but it wasn't hitting the mark on what was requested. [/quote

What demands are people making? I'm saying it was closed where it doesn't make sense asking for an explanation and suggesting it could have been better handled doesn't seem outrageous to me. Are you suggesting that I'm not allowed to vote either or disagree? Your argument of "only" 100 votes is silly because its been closed, no one knows how many votes

I was under the impression that Logos wanted input via the uservoice page as to what was important to people and others could vote on it if it was important to them. The page shows what users (at least some of them) are interested in. There are other features with higher votes that don't appear to be accepted either. It would seem to me the answer was

It seems to me that Bob could have posted you can already do this via "turn off Internet access" as opposed to commenting on it and marking it complete. The fact that he marked it complete suggests to me he isn't listening to it or has already decided he doesn't care to do anything about it regardless of votes. This sounds a lot to me like there isn

I'm disappointed in the handling of this as well. It seems a fair number of people voted for that feature and ignored. I'm not sure what to make out of it other than it sounds a lot like my opinion doesn't really matter. It seems to me if you have enough people voting for it that it might be a reason to rethink your position and it looks like it was

This appears to be a known problem now. My question is when will it be fixed and released? Unfortunately, for me, losing my place between system makes it really unusable on one of the machines for me. Since the desktop is far more stable for me, that makes my Mac unusable at this time :(.
