  • Re: Which resources should I use for Hebrew transliterations?

Thank you for the vids. I guess I really did not know how to frame my query. I saw a few resources in my library, and I am not sure really where to beging. That is because I need to do word studies in Greak & Hebrew. I think you may be correct that I should get a real good tutorial on all the facets of Logos "wird Study" functions and learn what I can

  • What is meant by ...

Hi, This a small question and I am just guessing that it is just short for the term. "Gloss" Is it mean Glossary? Which makes me wonder about this setting in the Information panel. If it is, what or which glossary? [dumb huh?] Ben

  • Which resources should I use for Hebrew transliterations?

Hi Logos family, Forgive me for being such a newbie at using Logos resources. I am in need to know somethings about my resources. I am not used to having such a huge library at my beck and call. My problems is not know which resources are best for a particular realm of research. (what do I use?) I would like to know which recources would help me like

  • Re: How Do You DISABLE Automatic Logging?

This is just an FYI to those who need to start/restart indexing. I used the command Rebuild Index in the Command Box. I watched as my HDD went active for a awhile, which tells me the indexing was processing. My question is, why don't I see a progress window or somthing to let those that aren't looking to thier HDD lights to give them some indications

  • Re: Recooping from broken OS. Need to import from my earlier install.

No, I haven't yet heard of Dave Hootens proceedures. I went to the wiki about 6 months ago and didn't find any answers for what was mostly a training issue (missing training that is). I will check it and see if they have something on moving to another computer/partition/OS. It would be what I am looking for. Yes, I still have access to my old OS. Before

Ujj. I tend to go to this forum 1st to find a solution. If I cannot get there from the forum, which tends to have many great answers, then I would call or email support.

Ah, Alas! It is not so. Tis what I did expect. I have re dowloaded, and re indexed and have been in Logos about 3 times now. I am continually on the internet. I am very sad I do not have at least my layouts, and prayer lists. Sigh.

  • Recooping from broken OS. Need to import from my earlier install.

I had to reinstall my WIndows 7 Pro x64 in a new partition. All my customizations - "Poof!" I have resureccted my "failed" OS. I am almost finished copying things to my backup and new OS. I am able to collect emails and other customization, et al. I need to get back my layouts, customizations, and study stuff I had in the original Logos I was using

  • Re: A plea for the bibliographic report to be reinstated

Hi Whoever? "This is a separate utility that was written by Mark Barnes." I know, I have posted on it before Posting here. "It was never part of Logos to be "put back in." The bibliographic report that people were requesting be put back in from Logos 3 has been put back in." Yes, I know. [Opps! Did I give the impression that it was originally in L4

Okay, here is the link I went to. It is no where to be found. I would hope logos4 would have put this bibliographical report for the library back in. I heard ot was once in there and I also saw that they were suppost to have put it back this quarter. Thanks!! http://www.4-14.org.uk/logos/logos4-bibliographic-report

I went to the folder that were on that web page, I also looked on another partition that I had Logos 4 on, but. I do remember a lengthy download my computer was doing. I am have monitor issues and wasn't able to see where the download was coming from. It could have been Windows update, I thought for awhile, but, it was rather long. So, I was asking

  • Re: A plea for the bibliographic report to be reinstated

I know this was way last year this posting. I am wondering what was done? I have Logos 4 Scholar and was trying the "utlity" that a Logos 4 person had up. I couldn't because no such file existed to upload. I wonder, was this function ever re-instituted in a recent upfate, and I don't know it? Where, pray tell, if it is do? Or, how do I get this accomplished

Oh and ALL that loot you all are, do doubt, enjoying too. Hey, nothing wrong on making money to facilitate the students of the Word...right? I mean, it is worth it as I see it. They even were so very gracious to give this "poorman" very affordable payment schedule. I am SOOoo happy with Logos 4, I could never get board or "done" in my studies.

  • Re: Getting to know all those resources...

Just a quick 2 cents on what you posted. I too have iTunes and rarely have anything in it that would be below a 3. In fact, I usually ignore those too. Thing is, iTunes are meant for your favorites and I do not think I would purchase a bunch of duds. Logos 4 is not like that, unless you make it that. I bought at the "Scholar" level (not bragging). Not

not secure PDF's. YOu can secure the resource in a couple of ways. I need them in digital, because of l;ow vision and use a TTS screen reader (TextAloud). so video or text in digital format. Accessability NEEDS to be considered. All my books I try to purchase in audio or digital format. Mr. Proctor could make some more coin if he could produce a video

I mentioned that in another post. I sure hope he gets it out soon. I simply cannot afford the camp. I really couldn't fly anywhere. I am wheelchaired and other stuff. I sure wished I could gone when it was here in August. It was just across the freeway too.. I just couldn't beg or borrow the cash for it. O am so very disappointed too.. i I hear these
