Okay, I'll give it a shot.
Thanks David. A lot of light bulbs started flashing as various things came together and my wife & I had a fruitful discussion over the lunch table about your post.

The Adult quarterlies for the 2nd quarter of this year are ready for downloading in the Faithlife Adult Sabbath School group as is the material for the Pine Knoll study group.
what about making how-to resources cheaper?
More resources do need to be employed at creating "How to" material. Different members of the Logos family travel at different speeds, some needing very detailed material whereas others flourish on much briefer material. The material needs to be easily accessible through a help menu
It‘s a very ho hum non event. I don’t see the point of all this silly speculation about it. FL will do what they like when they like.
And that is how it should be.......
I know my brain is not as fast or reliable as it used to be ... and I'm getting a lot of memory access errors and the aural/visual inputs are less acute. :-)
Lovely!!
General ease of use; many support the idea of "Simple mode." More free training (which some suggest wouldn't be needed if usability issues were addressed). Search, especially regarding the need to simplify a complex syntax. Faithlife Assistant and Bible Browser are a good start, but not advanced or integrated
Does Logos have The Clear Word Bible? If it does, how can I acquire it?
One reason is that it is not a Bible and it is not titled a Bible by the publishers. It was called a Bible when first published but it got so much flack from academics who published by the publisher as well as others, that they removed the word
On another note, I've just noticed that I appear to have lost 539 posts when I changed email address. Oh, well.
It always happens!! Get in touch with customer support with the details of the two email addresses and they will arrange for it to be corrected.
Those who were inclined to do so could look up what the author said or was quoted as saying in context. I'd even help them do it if they asked. In the hope that the congregation starts to build up a mental list of names which are reliable and credible to guide their book purchasing/online sermon listing habits. Eg. A person browsing
I agree Paul... I'd rather have deals (and I'd even go so far to say that I'd rather others get deals) instead of passing up on sales. As I said earlier, I can't think of any other business that would withhold sales for X amount of time to not annoy previous purchasers... that is life... that is business.
I have now bought
So if you're looking for sales - change the survey. For now? I'm out unless you give me information. I suppose you got your answer to MY current knowledge and feelings Hope it helps.
I could not agree more with you on virtually all the points you were making. I have heard the enthusiasm of many of the forum but have yet
The digital book is 'gone' unless you keep kicking in another grand every 5-10 years.
That is only because we cant resist just buying one more book or paying for a few more facilities each time Logoos is updated.

I love the feel of books and for READING stretched out in a chair I dont think digital is in the same league. However life is not that siomple. We will have to downsize soon and I want to get my paper books down and into 2 moderately sized book cases so I am working hard at getting used to digital. For reference works, digital with Logos is unbeatable

Whereas I am not interested in arguing with anyone on this issue, I am always wary about being adamant on any issue involving what we call the trinity. We are far too eager to "put God in a box" at times. We are inclined to forget that He did not present us with a systematic theology within the pages of scripture and that perhaps we should exert rather
