Given the other recent post, asking why there is no activity here... the answer being... not very many adventist are using the program...
I could wax lyrical on that subject but would probably be completely up the creek! I have just compared our SDA forum with the other denominational ones by the number of total posts
Amazon is the world’s largest bookseller and has branches based in other countries.
A book that I cant get from Logos, I can get direct from the USA with Amazon.com so in that sense they are allowed to sell single copies to the USA so having Amazon.uk.co in the UK is theoretically immaterial. However, that
Don't forget the follow up, Kingdom of the Occult, can also be found in FLEB. Currently at $9.99 and a steal at that price. Glad to see the other one coming in.
If you are in the UK don't bother - it is not for sale for us. How do Amazon.com manage to arrange to get contract permission to sell books such as that as long

Although I voted for uploading to Mobile platforms I keep wondering if I should have gone for better tagging for maps etc as a previous poster mentioned. What I do now is the upload PPB's in epub format so I can read them there. One never knows, I might get an invitation for a chat!
Now that I have spent a few more minutes thinking about this PBB in Logos is a very powerful tool for those denominations that Logos gives little active support. Logos has given some support to SDA and Orthodox but look at the lack of activity on their forums.
I agree wholeheartedly. I am confident that logos would
I returned the computer this morning and got one with a 500GB hard drive and a better processor. Off to the races... Take care folks!
FAR better for all round use. The other one was really only useful for browsing, emails and occasional use of MSWord. Storage on as computer is very much like capacity in a freezer.

Ben Can you havbe a look at https://www.logos.com/product/50327/mobile-ed-jon-paulien-biblical-eschatology-bundle . This appears only for sale as a bundle which means that neither (or both) can be be bought on an offer such as this OR for that matter used on the Connect offer of a free course for 6 months. I would be happy for one of them on the $50

  • Re: Revelation DIY

The intention is to update 1) Revelation DIY and also 2) Ranko and Jon's files on a weekly basis normally sometime on Thursday. Revelation DIY will be issued on the Thursday just prior to when the study week begins and and Renko and Jon's the Thursday during the study week. This means that they have been updated this week by week 3 and 2 respectively

  • Revelations DIY

These lesson helps for this quarter is unusual and although written by Werner E. Lange the retired book editor of the German SDA press he is supported/recommended by Jon Paulien. Werner works on the premise that we can study Revelations ourselves and are in fact told this by EGW. Werner is now kindly supplying the files directly to us. The first three

  • Re: Book Suggestions

I think we need to accept that we are very unlikely to see the new commentary set on Logos due to the high cost of conversion. It is not unusual to see more main stream commentaries than these abandoned after selling a handful as it is not economically viable. I guess that this will apply to any of the high tech Bible programs.

  • Re: Finding an EGW letter

I checked our group and could not track it down. I strongly feel that we should remove any books as Logos produce them but we can really only police our own groups. However, we cannot refrain producing public domain books on the off chance that Logos will produce them. The main reason that I went with Logos originally was that I could produce my own

  • Re: The effect of Inserting a block of text into an existing Personal Book on existing notes/highlights

Yep! I will only know if I get complaints though! The more I think of it the more convinced I am that I need to leave a clear gap where I will be inserting text a few days later. Then no-one is likely to highlight or apply a note across across that gap which should avoid problems. Surely a highlight or note will be linked to the text highlighted/referenced

  • The effect of Inserting a block of text into an existing Personal Book on existing notes/highlights

I am preparing bible study notes into a personal book for for disseminating via a Faithlife group.. It will have text added to the end of the document each week which will be re-downloaded and compiled by recipients each week. I understand that this will not disturb highlights, notes etc that have already been added to the document by the recipients
I wish Logos would clean up the books that they published
Greetings Fred I was given to understand that the commentary was produced in the days when it could be done by an independent publishers with permission and would be sold as being able to link in with Logos. • Re: Resources that study the theology of a particular person.

Dave, sadly that is the normal result. No problem though. Send a message to customer service with all the details and ask them to carry over your count. If nothing has happened within 3 or 4 weeks you might want to send them a friendly reminder.
