If Logos says it was not a true Word document, the most likely cause is that there was a problem with the download that corrupted the file. Try downloading it again.

I don't know why, but in the SDA Bronze page, in the list of resources, it is included in the "Other" section towards the end, rather than in the "Biblical Commentaries" section.

I'm afraid I'm stuck. The problem is that Logos is not registered with Window, the cause is probably the customised installation, but I do not know how to fix the problem. Sorry.

I was working from memory, but the memory wasn't good. Now that I have had an opportunity to check, I realised I gave you the wrong comand. You need to look for the file logoscom.exe. On my computer, it is in the c:\users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Logos\System\ folder. On your, it might be in the g:\logos\system\ folder, but it depends on how

If you tell me the message you get after the regsvr32 command, maybe I could still help.
Could it be because I have the entire program installed to an SSD?
If the program was copied there rather than being installed there (that is likely, since I don't think Logos gives you an option to change the directory during the installation), then it is certainly the reason. My program can not find Logos, because

Lane: Try this: Open a command line window (for example with the Windows key+R, searching for the program cmd from the Start Menu, or in other ways, depending on your version of Windows - if you have trouble let me know writing what Windows version you have) and in that window type and execute the command regsvr32 C:\Users\<user name>\AppData

Lane: Could you click the "Details" button in the error windows, and write or show with a screen shot what is written there? It may help. But basically Logos has not registered itself with Windows in the correct way. There are ways to try to make it register itself (which it should do when it is installed), but first

I have added quite a few other books to the file over the last 18 months (mostly those on sale), but will work on those I picked up with Logos 7 before I post a new version. It doesn't matter if there are Logos 7 libraries: once they are in Logos they are just books regardless of where they came from. What could make a difference is having the Logos

A resource that does do what was asked for is The Thematic Bible ( https://www.logos.com/product/3130/the-thematic-bible ) Here for example is the beginning of 1Peter 4: Chapter 4 1 Pet 4:1–2 ► Sins (Specific Sins) → Sins Directly Against Self → Carnality → Living For the flesh (for one’s own pleasure, following our sinful nature) ► Sin, in General

Another update to the file. There are a few new books in the index, but the main change is the addition of milestones (one for each chapter) to the file, both in the main DOCX file and in the personalised indexed of your books that you can create. This means that the book (My) Index Bible Studies will show up in the Passage Guide and other places in

It would no doubt be possible to write a Word macro to do, but I will just do it manually. Probably take less time for me rather than working out how to write the macro.

It used to do this, and show up in the passage guide, but at some point all the milestones like [[@Bible:Ge]] got lost. I don't know how, maybe when Word creashed once and I had to reconstruct the file, I forgot to put in those milestones. So you can put them in your copy in the meantime, and I will put them in my file as well, so that they will appear

Strange. Maybe the other computer has the correct version of .NET, and the desktop no. Although if they both run Logos, I don't think that should be the problem. Apart from that, I have no idea and am just happy that you got it to work!

I have updated the file with my index of Bible studies that I have on Logos, which includes the Logos 6 and denominational packages that I have, and various other resources. There are about 45000 references indexed now. There is also a new version of the program that creates a personalised index that includes only the resources that you (and I) own

  • Re: Search syntax and other issues with Spanish UI

For the search, you could try Speaker The reason is that the Spanish translation (as all of the translations) is incomplete, and when a term is translated it is put in the other language, otherwise the English term is used. "Speaker" has been added fairly recently as a term to translate, and has not been done yet. But Person has been translated. I know

For the Opening Up commentary series, some packages have 37 volumes and others have 40 volumes. I don't know why. You can see the details in my message at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/93407.aspx

  • Opening Up Commentary Series in Base Packages

I was just wondering: Why do the Reformed and SDA packages contain the 37 volume version of the Opening Up Commentary Series, but the Standard, Baptist and Chaplain's packages the 40 volume version? Was it just an oversight? Whilst searching the Logos site for "opening up commentary" does give an entry for the 37 volume version, it has no price and
