• Re: Moving resources to an external SD card

Erwin, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has an external slot for up to 64GB MicroSD. Not sure what you meant by low end tablets having external slots. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is not a low end tablet and is on par or a bit head of Apple on various abilities (i.e. multi-screen which Apple still doesn't support). So maybe I misunderstood you but when you start

  • Re: Samsung Note 3 Logos Storage on SD Card

Correct, but they should. As more Logos users are using mobile devices to access Logos and their resources it should be something thoughtfully and prayerfully considered. Most of my resources are available on my Android devices, and believe me, I AM grateful. The next step is that since my tablet is easier and lighter than my laptop, it would be nice

Willie, the point is data download levels...if you have an unlimited plan for data, I say go for it...but many people don't whether at home or on the road. Companies are putting more limits or charging for when you go over or worse yet throttle you back. You may not like the word - barrage - but when it interfere's by creating more noise and makes getting

I have a Samsung Note 10.1 w/32GB of RAM, and a 32 GB MicroSD. Would love to be abe to move my resources over. Is that a Samsung functionality issue or can the APP detect it and move it. Since I use my tablet a lot and would love to have more of my resources loaded to the MicroSD. Love the Logos App for Android, it just keeps getting better.

Agreed. Drew/Kevin, Android and other developers et al... As another developer of business apps, having features is nice, but the constant barrage of sales ads and stuff chokes any news and becomes burdensome. I have setup my profie to get most - if not all - via e-mail and to have it coing in in multiple areas is just plain rude of Logos. If folk want
A very sane reply. Years ago when I was struggling through this, I read from both sides of the fence. You know, as a well-intentioned servant of God, MacArthur is no fool. Perhaps someone may conclude he is wrong some of the time, but many of his points may still be food for thought. What I think though: in heaven there will be no
Things are much better on these forums now. Some of the most annoying ones seems to have disappeared. Just an occasional troublemaker now.
Thanks Jack, kind of seen that in recent months that a lot of the annoying ones have gone dormant or are gone. Trying to catch up on things....

David, initially it may be tedious but using suggestions already provided will make long time use much easier to deal with. The Metadata is a real nice way to group. I started by drag-and-drop and found it annoying as well. For a small number of items it is fine, but the Metadata is great. Also taking time as you have it to do Mytag coding makes things

Jack thanks for the post, I haven't posted in awhile in the forum...even though I have used Logos since the Libronix and pre-Libronix days. Just get sick of the whole in fighting on the matter. The enemy must have a field day watching God's children fight over things like this. We can have an opinion, but if it doesn't glorify the Father than best to

  • Precept Highlights off

Just noticed that my Precept Highlight filter is now displaying incorrectly. Anyone else having this issue? Just re-read this and it sounds like my filter is off but it is on. I can see the symbols, they just aren't lining up on the correct word. Thanks

  • Re: What do you love most about L4?

fgh, I have been using Logos long enough to know that the engine is and has always been free. That was NOT my point. I was fortunate to be part of the L4 Beta group, and initially I was in shock as were many at the changes from Libronix. After a good deal of work I saw the benefits and improvement. With that said, I am not disputing that their are additional

Bradley, thanks for the clarification, unfortunately it may be unrelated it was projected as such at least from my vantage point. Also as for the Personal Book Builder being the vehicle that the Sermon File Addin was implemented through in L4 is less than obvious and I will have to look at it to see if its functionality is equivalent. Thanks for the

I have done every major upgrade up to L4 since I started using Logos. I went through the growing pains of L4, spent time as an Ambassador (in a flat economy) tauting L4 even with it's issues knowing Logos would iron them out. I thought about upgrading several time upgrading my L4 Platinum but none of the base products have resources that I would use

  • Re: Using Logos Android app on Galaxy Tablet

Hey Kevin, I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 - they now run Jelly Bean - and although on the high end price wise (especially if you get the 32 GB) you won't be disappointed. I also like some apps will allow split screen (i.e. like Logos) so I can have the app open on one side and my note app on the other that I can scribble on. MyScript is a nice app for taking

My family purchased the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 32GB and it runds Logos great. I downloaded the resources I use most often, along with what I am reading. Use it pretty much anywhere. Only thing I wish is that they have a better way of taking notes. I really like that i can expand my tablet with a MicroSD.

Jain, I purchased my first base package the Pastor's Library in 10/2004 and have bought numerous books and upgrade through several incentives to the L4 Platinum and have spent less than $1200 total. If I were to go to L5 Platinum it would cost slightly more than half my investment for only about 100 new resources. The Diamond vould double the investment

Francis, thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts down in such a thought provoking and gracious manner. I do not see any point you brought up that is not correct. I, personally, may have to go with a crossgrade at this point, but it doesn't mean I can't upgrade later on. As to Bob, I wish more companies were so open with their responses. Your
