Bob, As a long time LOGOS user, I greatly appreciate you stepping and helping clarify things that make total sense from within LOGOS, but may be confusing to us on the outside. Your decision to make the software available and sell content is one of the main reasons I started my investment into LOGOS. Though the packages are at a good price mfor the

Definitely, glad to see your comment Alan as it looks like emotions have been running high over the last few days. Glad I missed it, as I was busy on other projects. Like you I have not decided whether to upgrade or not. I have so many resources now from the L4 Platinum and additional purchases, I can't see spending the additional amount on more books

  • Re: seriously? Jack Daniel's Cookbook on Vyrso

Complaining about this book just shows signs of narrow mindedness. If it is something you wouldn't buy, either because of the subject or the alcohol reference, don't buy it. In cooking the alcohol content burns off and you are left with a hint of the flavor. I am not promoting an abuse of something. But this whole line is ridiculous. If it is against

  • Re: NKJV - LOUW Interlinear line gone

@Steve - Thanks Steve for the info, and yes everything is as it should be. I haven't changed those settings for a very long time. It just seems like the NKJV suddenly disappeared.

  • Re: NKJV - LOUW Interlinear line gone

Hi Tommy, I have looked in various areas of both the OT and NT. LOUW-Nida shows up on my NASB95 and Lexham English just fine. Current reference was 1 Timothy 3:8.

  • NKJV - LOUW Interlinear line gone

I noticed a while back that the LOUW-NIDA line in the interlinear disappeared awhile back. Maybe I'm wrong but I seem to recall it being there since I used it before. Did something happen or am I mistaken??? Appreciate any insights...

Well, I am convinced but the finances aren't there so I am going to have to bow out for the time being from this offering. Bummer though.

  • Re: I am disappointed with the New Spirit Filled Life Study Bible

I too am disappointed as it doesn't seem to be as full featured as I would have expected. I believe the underlying text matches the regular NKJV, so why couldn't it have been developed with the interlinear. The display icon doesn't allow me to select various markups either. That is frustrating too. Hopefully someone from Logos will follow-up on these

  • Re: Hebrew Pronunciation Addin

Well I origianlly ordered it when it posted, then dropped it until 2009. I would love to hear what progress has been made. I don't feel ignored, because this is definitely a long-term and highly complicated project to do correctly. Last thing I would want to see is a partial functionality or one that didn't hit the mark at all. Although my patience

Maybe I am looking at the wrong product under the Logos Products page - http://www.logos.com/product/1220/spirit-filled-life-study-bible - which I have. Basically it has the earlier versions notes and Kingdom Dynamics information but does not include the Bible text. The new offering has the Bible text embedded which allows you to have your bible and

  • Re: Mormon Studies Collection

If you are interested in apologetics and you have friends who are mormon and you want to discuss the "real" Jesus with them - not what is taught in mormonism. Then anything you can get your hands on to guide you and the converation is most helpful. I had electronic versions in L3 that would be great in L4. Anything more on Jehovah Witnesses would be
I've never been much of a Civil War buff so I did not expect to spend much time with the Richmond Times Dispatch. I have been pleasantly surprised with this resource because it puts me "in the moment."
Perseus is also a very good resource since I am a Home Schooling parent. Well there is the point of being a Logos book addict . I have about 3500 books inflated by the Classics. I have been focusing on tagging and prioritizing. I decided to start from scratch.

  • Re: Camp Logos Live DVD worth the Price ???

Well there is the thought that if the DVDs were lower in cost he might sell exponentially more of them. Also there are so many ways people learn. Many people may go to a seminar because they do better with live interaction and it helps them focus on the topic since they are away from distractions at home. Also if the DVDs were lower those who go to

  • Re: Hebrew Audio Pronunciations??

Well one of the last items I recal was a post by Rosie in February relating what Bob had said about it... Bob Pritchett: Sorry -- it's just not ready. Turns out Hebrew pronunciation was a lot more complicated than Greek, because each morphological analysis (and lexicon) has a different opinion on what the "lemma" -- or root word -- actually is.
