Got them all, read them all, use them all . . . would love to have them in Libronix! Maybe this is the start!

Thanks John, your work has multiplied my abilities to do the things I do! Jerry

Will we ever be able to use Visual Markup in PBB? It would be most helpful to be able to annotate. And, while I'm asking, it would be great to add "Notes" here too!

I'm continually going back and forth from OT to NT and having my original language text jump with me is a major asset! Any thoughts on a work around, save opening two Bible/two original languages? Or, where can I go to make a suggestion?
-
Thanks for the help. Not trying to be a complainer, but I still have to select the now need OT/NT original language window, just seems like an added "mouse move" when I'm working. Could be old habits for old dogs but having the windows work with the serial association was much faster/smoother in my opinion. For what it's worth, I think Logos4 has great

Thank you for that video overview, much appreciated. I'm one of those anxiously awaiting Notes, Highlighting, and Favorites so L4 can be the main player for study. When you overviewed highlighting, did you by chance skip, or is it not present, the ability to assign speed keys for highlighting (as we can do in L3)? Using the mouse to select, click menus

Let me join my voice and quote, "L4 was meant to be about improving and enhancing the Bible Study experience, but dropping Serial Associations was a retrograde step. Bring it back asap. Like yesterday!" Jerry

In L4 to copy Bible verses, I enter the verse(s) in the Copy Bible Verses window, then must click the Go arrow or hit Enter to make the verse(s) active, then click Copy or Copy and Paste. In L3, I could enter the verse(s), then hit Enter and my entry was Pasted into my word processor. As I write studies, I'm very frequently inserting verses so those

I'll definitely 2nd this, and, both working PRA and SRA!

I certainly hope you're correct on L4 functionality with PBB. It's another of those key things which will move L4 to the main software for me. I've lots of PBB books, many of my own, that are extremely valuable resources. So . . . what do you think the chances are that L4 will port over all the L3 PBB resources?
-
I too await getting my L3 notes and hyperlinks and favorites, created over many years, into L4. Without access to these resources L4 isn't ready for daily prime use for me. So, "until," it's work in L3, keep L4 open in the background and play with it as time allows . . .

In L4 to Copy Bible Verse(s), I frequently enter in CBV the verses for the text I wish to insert in the study I'm preparing. (Often this is not the passage in my open Bible where I might "select" verses to be copied.) I must then hit "Enter" to select the verses, then move the mouse to click "Copy and Paste." All of this adds up to several steps when

Maybe extra strokes and mousing around doesn't mean much to others but when you use the software for "business," not just pleasure, every motion counts! I teach Photoshop and instruct students to work with one hand on the keyboard and one hand on the mouse so you can use keystrokes for as many things as possible, much faster! Less mouse work! And that

Melissa, Thank you for your help . . . I've tried this and must have missed something. You note . . . "However do not let Logos3 discover those files as this will start the whole process over again." . . . so, since I still need to use L3 if I to use my massive hyperlinked notes, this sounds like I'll have to do with these journals in L3, which I find
-
May not be the same issue but, yes, L4 is crashing. I got notes/favorites imported last evening and have been working with how/if hyperlinks in my notes imported or notes added actually works, and in the process L4 has crashed several times . . . sorry I can't diagnose the cause, but, I share your concern . . . Jerry

SteveF, thanks, your comment makes more sense to me than most of what I see. Without sounding arrogant, I've been using Logos from its beginning, and while the product has wonderfully matured, they never dropped the ball so badly with leaving out those features "power users" go for, e.g., hyperlinking to articles, external PDFs, etc. Thus, over the

Here's the logs . . . Thanks again, Jerry

One more piece of info . . . I HAVE NOT imported anything as yet, didn't want to start that process until 4.0b was loading/starting smoothly. Jerry
-
Thanks, Kenneth . . . may be misery loves company! "In a way," it's good to know it's something not totally wiggy! I slipped over to my laptop and opened L4.0b, and it goes through the same indexing and same downloading. I also opened the Library and opened Bibsac Vol 5 and 8, both are present and readable. I confess I don't know if that helps, but

May work up courage here. Any thoughts on deleting the Library index file and letting the whole system re-index? I'm definitely into speculation here and certainly don't want to "mess things up" for future use . . . Jerry
