What is the best way to locate my Treasury of Sacred Art in Verbum 8? I tried searching under the media tool and nothing comes up. Also, isn't there supposed to be a saints tool?

  • Re: Is There any chance that Denominations and Theological tagging will make it into Logos 8?
This is definitely something we'd like to do. We've been discussing it internally and want to make sure we approach it in the right way. Once we have an agreed-upon approach, it's just a matter of timing when to do the work. Thanks for your feedback on this.
What about setting things up so you can search

  • Re: Denominational Tagging of Resources?

Thank you for the information. Question: Is there a way to create collections of the resources included in particular base packages? And if so, how? For example, it would be great to be able to create a collection or have a library search option where you only search in resources included in your Baptist Portfolio 7 or your Reformed Platinum 8.
This all looks good and we could spend quite some time honing it between us. My post was to make it look doable, and potentially useful. However, my basic point is that Logos are willing to label resources for marketing purposes, as Rosie points out, so my request is that they simply add these tags to the actual resources
Logos 8 is here ! It’s available in English , Spanish , German , Portuguese , Korean , and Chinese on desktop (Windows and macOS), mobile (iOS and Android), and the web at https://app.logos.com/ .
Hi Phil, are all the tools from the Logos 8 desktop app available/accessible in the web app? If no, what

  • Re: Library Filtering by Subject

Thank you for your reply. I understand I can alphabetize by title heading. What I mean is under the filter options. If I click on Filter > Subject.... all the stuff listed under subject is randomly listed by highest number of resources in each subject rather than alphabetical. This makes no sense to me. If I'm looking for a specific subject, I then

  • Re: Denominational Tagging of Resources?

I fully agree that we should be able to sort by historical tradition. When I go to buy something on Logos.com, I can search for resources by tradition there so obviously there is tagging already done. I don't see why that can't be done within one's library and why I have to go through all the creating collections and researching which resources are

  • Re: Make It Easier to Filter Library Using Collections

I second this! It makes most sense to sort things alphabetically or at least have that option. Also when searching for resources to purchase on Logos.com we can search by denomination. Why can't searches be done by denomination in our libraries? So if I want to access only my Baptist resources or only my Anglican resources and search within them?

  • Re: Library Filtering by Subject

Yes, I meant alphabetical ordering. Like when I click on the author section of my library and I want it alphabetically ordered. Like when you're searching by author in a public library database. Instead it's just a random listing of all the authors of all the books in my library. If I don't quite know the last name of the author it can make it difficult

  • Library Filtering by Subject

Why doesn't it organize alphabetically? You just have to keep clicking more and more and more and none of it has any alphabetical ordering to it. Also, how do I find all the resources affiliated with a particular denomination? Or denomination package that I bought like Baptist 7, for example? thanks!

In version 7 you could turn off pre-pubs and ads from coming up on your home screen. Can you do this in Logos 8? And if so, how?

  • Re: start up

I've opened my library and I do not find any New King James listed. I don't even find the word "Prioritize" at the right hand. The only thing I find is "Customize". I click on that and I don't see any New King James version listed. I sent an e-mail to logos but they are so busy they told me to try the forums for help.

  • start up

I purchased Logos in Oct. but haven't had much time to work with it besides installing it. The tutorial tells me to choose a Bible translation. the only translation that shows in my drop down box is the Hebrew Bible. How do I get other versions like the new King James.
