  • Thank You Faithlife!

As part of the upgrade to Logos 8 (Silver and above), Logos offers a Mobile Ed course. I was extremely pleased with the upgrade I got. It was like Christmas in October to also get the Mobile Ed course I have been looking at for a very long time! Thank you Bob and the Faithlife team! Chuck

  • Auto Play Embedded Video

Hi All: I opened the Logos blog to read and immediately a video (Can “Elohim” Refer to Beings Other Than God?) begins playing. Turns out the video is at the very end of entries. I find this frustrating. It is a very common problem with so many of the web pages I open while surfing. I do not want Logos nor any web site to be able to play

  • Re: Mobil Ed

Thank you both for your help. Is there any way to "promote" the Courseware button to either its own entry on the tools menu or the shortcut bar so that just my Mobile Ed course appear ?

  • Color Contrast

Greetings all: As I age, I find it more and more difficult to navigate within Logos 8. This is especially true if the ambient light is not optimal. The greatest difficulty I have is with the lines which outline the various windows open in Logos. The single greatest difficulty is the very narrow and very difficult to see slide bar on the right side of

  • List of My Mobile Ed courses

Greetings all: Is there a way to have Logos display only the mobile courses I own (all of the courses I own and nothing else)? If I click on Tools -> Reference -> Course I get every course I own (all 410). That's nice, but it takes a long time to manually scroll through them. Chuck

  • Re: Color contrast for visiblity

GaoLu: Thank you for the suggestion. It is something I can try. At the risk of sounding "whiney", But why? Why should I need to tinker with universal settings that affect all the apps (many of which already provide the nice, sharp color contrast that make them easy to use)? In the end, your solution may be quite helpful and I am thankful for it. But

So I have tried the various color contrasts and saturation I could find in Windows 10. None of them improved my situation for me. In fact, most made it worse.

  • Re: Off-line Logos will not open

Mike, thank you for your reply. I arrived home, with wifi access, and Logos 9 still would not open. (So, I guess the problem was likely nothing to do with the lack of wifi connection). I re-booted my computer (Windows 10) and everything works fine. My best guess is the chipmunks went on holiday for a while!

  • Re: Holman Bible Atlas - Resource Update Needed? Poor Image Quality

Greetings all: I remain disappointed with most Bible maps; they are generally too cluttered with data which makes a poor PowerPoint slide. Or they look too amateur in appearance. I long for a Logos resource (or a standalone program) that has good looking base maps and gives me the ability to include only the cities, boundaries and geographic features

  • Re: Introductions to Bible Books for Courses Tool

In the Courses Tool: I have more than 80 titles in the left-hand column listed under the bullet point: Bible Passage. I have several scores of authors/instructors (etc., etc.). Is there a way to alphabetize these lists? (They remind me of the mish-mash of Word help files; they seem to be listed as they were added to the list; kind of a helter skelter

  • Introductions to Bible Books for Courses Tool

I watched the Logos Now Training video on the Courses Tool ( https://www.logos.com/logos-pro ). Following the guidance of the video, I began the study: Introduction to the Epistles to the Galatians, by Joel L. Watts. I wrongly assumed Logos came with these introductory studies on each Bible book as part of the Courses Tool. Has Logos published Courses

  • Fragments of Truth

Bob and Faithlife TV: Thank you for such a well done documentary, Fragments of Truth! I deeply appreciate all you did to make this documentary a reality. With great skill, you underscored the veracity of the Greek text. Certainly, I pray this documentary receives a wide circulation. May God bless you richly! Chuck

Thank you all for your comments. Reuben, I do use my mouse's scrolling wheel often. However there are times when I cannot use the mouse. I know this is an issue because I am developing cataracts. I am not sure the persons responsible for the interface of most software are fully aware of the difficulty that early stages of cataracts create, not to mention

  • Mobil Ed

Over the last several years, I have bought a few Mobile Ed courses. Now, I want to begin using them, but have no idea where to find them in Logos 8. When I go to the Tools menu and open the courses tab, I get a listing on the multiple hundreds of available, unavailable, author, level, etc. On the available to you tab, 116 plans are available. I really

Well, a bit more playing around, I found the answer to my question! If it have been a snake, it would have bit me. Right there on the Category button on the Course Menu is a button, Courseware. That button gave me what I wanted. Chuck

  • Color contrast for visiblity

As I age, Logos becomes harder and harder to use. There simply is not enough color contrast. For example, when I click on the 3-stacked dots (to open a panel’s menu) , it is as close to impossible as you can get to see the slide bar to control the text size in the open resource. The slide is virtually the same color as the background color of
