  • "Help" and Bible Books Interactive/Explorer

Hi all: I am watching a Logos video on new features in Logos 9 ( https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018922551-New-Features-and-Tools-in-Logos-9 ). It references Bible Books Explorer. The video talked about its purpose and features, but no information on which menu to locate the tool. After spending about 25 minutes searching through the

  • Re: Off-line Logos will not open

Mike, thank you for your reply. I arrived home, with wifi access, and Logos 9 still would not open. (So, I guess the problem was likely nothing to do with the lack of wifi connection). I re-booted my computer (Windows 10) and everything works fine. My best guess is the chipmunks went on holiday for a while!

  • Off-line Logos will not open

Logos 9 desk top will not open. I am at a location with no internet. I have not subscribed to online resources. The splash screen opens and that is all it does. Is there a fix?

  • Re: Color contrast for visiblity

So I have tried the various color contrasts and saturation I could find in Windows 10. None of them improved my situation for me. In fact, most made it worse.

GaoLu: Thank you for the suggestion. It is something I can try. At the risk of sounding "whiney", But why? Why should I need to tinker with universal settings that affect all the apps (many of which already provide the nice, sharp color contrast that make them easy to use)? In the end, your solution may be quite helpful and I am thankful for it. But

Hi Robert: Sadly, I think your conculsion is correct. Meaning, I live with the unnecessary frustration (as I see it) until the frustration becomes too great and thousands of resrouces sit unused.

  • Color contrast for visiblity

As I age, Logos becomes harder and harder to use. There simply is not enough color contrast. For example, when I click on the 3-stacked dots (to open a panel’s menu) , it is as close to impossible as you can get to see the slide bar to control the text size in the open resource. The slide is virtually the same color as the background color of

  • Re: List of My Mobile Ed courses

Well, a bit more playing around, I found the answer to my question! If it have been a snake, it would have bit me. Right there on the Category button on the Course Menu is a button, Courseware. That button gave me what I wanted. Chuck

  • List of My Mobile Ed courses

Greetings all: Is there a way to have Logos display only the mobile courses I own (all of the courses I own and nothing else)? If I click on Tools -> Reference -> Course I get every course I own (all 410). That's nice, but it takes a long time to manually scroll through them. Chuck

  • Re: Color Contrast

Thank you all for your comments. Reuben, I do use my mouse's scrolling wheel often. However there are times when I cannot use the mouse. I know this is an issue because I am developing cataracts. I am not sure the persons responsible for the interface of most software are fully aware of the difficulty that early stages of cataracts create, not to mention

  • Color Contrast

Greetings all: As I age, I find it more and more difficult to navigate within Logos 8. This is especially true if the ambient light is not optimal. The greatest difficulty I have is with the lines which outline the various windows open in Logos. The single greatest difficulty is the very narrow and very difficult to see slide bar on the right side of

Thank you both for your help. Is there any way to "promote" the Courseware button to either its own entry on the tools menu or the shortcut bar so that just my Mobile Ed course appear ?

  • Mobil Ed

Over the last several years, I have bought a few Mobile Ed courses. Now, I want to begin using them, but have no idea where to find them in Logos 8. When I go to the Tools menu and open the courses tab, I get a listing on the multiple hundreds of available, unavailable, author, level, etc. On the available to you tab, 116 plans are available. I really
