  • Pasting Bible verse in different color

Does anyone know if there is code that can be added to custom formats for "copy bible verses" that will allow me to set the text to a different color? When I'm typing manuscripts I like for the bible verses to standout. I've set italics up and I can use bold, if its possible I'd prefer to have verses show up in blue so that when I'm preparing sermons

  • Re: Get a 14-volume commentary set for $30?! No way! You're kidding, right?

This is a great commentary set it's well worth $90 which is what I bid. Getting it for 30 dollars is a great deal. If you don't know who Barnes was, google him and see. If your bid is under 30 it's well worth raising it up to push this through.

  • A question about buying single books first.

I just wanted to make sure I am right in my assumption that you can't upgrade a single commentary to a collection. For example. I can't afford the complete John MacArthur collection right now. I'm studying the book of John and would like to go on and get his commentary on John 1-11. If a month from now I decide I can afford the entire collection, is

The text comparison is easy just type the abbreviation of the version you want. The tutorial page has a lot of helpful videos on it. http://www.logos.com/videos there is a series of videos by Mark Barnes at the bottom of the list called preparing a sermon with Logos 4. In the first video he goes step by step on how to make your study show up with all

Thanks for the suggestions. I figured it out. After changing to Match destination formatting, I had to click on styles and set it up as double spacing. I did not have the style set up right. I appreciate your help.

  • Double Space when pasting bible verses

I write my sermons in a double space format in word. When I paste from Logos it puts it in single space. I found where I change the settings, but I'm not sure what the correct code for double spacing is. Thanks for any help I can get.

  • Re: OT - How do you preach?

The few times I,ve preached I wrote a manuscript. read it several times a day till it was time to walk up and preach. I would leave it in the pew and preach it from memory. this helps me get thoughts in order but lets me go with what the Holy Spirit prompts. I have also found it useful to put a post it note in my bible with memory Jogs and an outline
