What is the advantage of using the cited by tool? It looks like that it has the same information as the passage guide, if you have your user created collections in the passage guide. Thanks. Michael

  • Early Church Fathers

Simple question...I am almost embarrassed to ask. When you are reading the Early Church Fathers, can someone tell the easiest way to identify the Church Father you are reading? Thanks. Also in the Earliest Greek Manuscripts, what is the easiest way to identify the Papyri you are reading (whether P15 or P75 and so fourth). Thanks.

  • Periphrastic Construction

I am sure that his has been "worn out" on other threads, but can anyone explain to me the grammatical significance of the Periphrastic Construction and how to identify it in the GNT. Thanks. Michael

  • Re: Periphrastic Construction

Oh Yeah, and I know that the technical meaning is "a round about way of saying something". What I am interesting in knowing is how the Periphrastic Construction changes the grammar. Ex. Acts 13:48-tasso from aorist to pluperfect? Thanks and I hope this makes enough sense. Michael
I keep a single note file for miscellaneous comments across many books... like when I trace down a citation and its wrong
Well, that is an idea.

Can someone tell, I cannot remember, how to turn off the pop-up windows for the clause components in Opentext.org. I remember doing it in L3 but not in L4...I know what the addreviations mean and they tend to get in my way. Thanks. Michael

Has anyone else received about a 11MB Logos update today? If so, what are the changes? Hopefully it took care of the sluggishness that SR-3 has caused. Michael

  • Netbook and Logos 4

I have just purchased a Acer Netbook 1.5Ghz. with 1GB DDR3 Ram. The main reason that I bought it was to preach from; but since library.logos.com does not have a reverse interlinear availability, how will the netbook run Logos 4? No searching or anything will be performed but reading from the bible. I have a BIG laptop for all my study, but was wondering
For just reading the Bible text, it will work well. I also use Logos 4 on a netbook. You can do everything you do on your big laptop, it will just take a little longer to do it.
About how long will take to load and index and what is the link to download?

  • Exporting to Powerpoint

Hello everyone, If I remember correctly you are suppose to be able to right click on a picture in your handouts and send that picture to powerpoint. I have performed this function before. However, the other night I was teaching my Logos class and I tried to right click and it did not give me any options. I believe when I performed that action before
