• Re: Logos 9 Base Package

You can do just a library upgrade if you wish. Or if you don't want to upgrade at all, you can wait until the free engine comes out this Spring and update your software and then you only have the new features that come in Basic. If you go to this page, you can compare books or features and by what works for you. compare packages

Instead of Factbook, what about the cultural concepts section of a passage guide? Just curious to see if that does what you need it to do. Carla
Is it me or does L9 have an issue with multiple tagging? In L8 and earlier I could simply tap the RETURN key to add the next tag. Sometimes I'd have to use the TAB key to get to the next slot to add another tag. Since L9 I enter a tag, hit ENTER, and start to enter the next one only to find my cursor in the FIND

  • Re: How large is your library?

I am not on my laptop, but I know I have between 10,000 and 11,000, not counting what is coming over from WordSearch. I also tag as I add new resources. Helps me find things easier. Thanks, Carla

  • Re: Logos 9 Free Engine Upgrade

I am, have used WS, Accordance, Logos, and PC Study Bible, along with some others. I find Logos much more to my liking than the others. As to not having to watch the videos, I watched the WS, Accordance, Logos, and PC Study Bible videos in order to get the most out of my application. I would highly recommend, at a minimum, watching the Quick start videos
Let's try one more time.... I try to Factbook for epistle to the (Ephesians, Galatians, Colossians, etc) and I still have to poke thru dictionaries, commentaries etc to try to find date book was written. And the problem is, with Factbook, I have less choices to look at. So... I don't understand how to use Factbook to find when a

Make a collection Type:Course and then sort results by author. That will take you out of the library and the constant refreshing. if you only want specific authors, you can include that in your rule. Something like this: Type:Course AND (author:XXX OR author:XXX OR author:XXX) Thanks, Carla [/quote

  • Re: Book Study or Factbook or what?

One thing you can do is create a collection of the resources you want to be included and add them to the Topic Guide so those resources show up every time you run it for a Bible Book. We can walk you through the steps if needed. You can add a custom collection to any guide, just not the factbook. So either the Passage, Exegetical, or Topic Guide. There
Ok... First, thank you for your help.... and I did run scans in Factbook using "Epistle to the Galatians", in fact I tried several different ways to search in Factbook. Now let's carry this a bit deeper.... Let me illustrate... I have in my quiver.... Unger's Bible Handbook and Halley's Bible Handbook. I can open them and instantly
I know I can go in my library and pull up information say on the book of Galatians. I can get the date written, author, where written, etc and etc. This is not the quickest way, I'm a thinking. Maybe I don't have my collections right? May I don't have things prioritized right? But I thought some of the study tools would do all this

I made entries for the following in the feedback forums. Please vote for your favorites. It is not an exhaustive list. I got tired before I got done going through the thread and if there was a post with more than three, I only wrote down three. Also, I did not include interlinears or reverse interlinears or Xrefs. If you would like to see other books
