• Re: For those of us still using hard drives
Curiousness is dangerous. Most average Christians these days are adept at installing the perfect SSD, re-working system settings, and using high-end software with limited guidance. Indeed, having a 'hard-drive' is almost embarrassing to admit, in Bible class. (I'm joking.)
ROFLOL, Denise! Having installed a couple, I'll

A very charismatic friend wrote in his monthly newsletter: ...re hurricane Dorian. Jesus was miffed that the disciples didn’t still the storm themselves instead of waking Him up. And He gave us authority in the great commission. So I suggest you use something like this prayer: “I cover you hurricane with the blood of Jesus. And I command

If a seminary & formal language studies lie in your future, check with your school about what they require. While I have both for comparison purpose (& BDB as well) & consult all of them, my seminary required BDB. They're all pricey when you're buying other seminary books.

  • Re: Selecting Superscripts to Read Footnotes

Last post on this topic. The last mobile release seems to have fixed the problem on all my devices. So I've reverted back to scrolling, since at the same time I began finding that I not all the footnotes made it onto a page, & if I paged backward or forward a DIFFERENT set of notes/text would be displayed each time. If a lot of footnotes were on
On iOS, you can still "two finger" scroll in this view. I don't know about the android app.
Wow! Thanks! That is really helpful! On 1st try, it scrolls so quickly that it's hard to control how far. Is there a setting g to decrease sensitivity? Tried it on the Fire tablet, which is Android, though so far behind Google

Thank you both for the responses. I'll be sad to lose scrolling, but it might almost be worth it in that resource not to have to try to select the footnotes. On your OS question, my fire is a 7th gen Fire 10HD running Fire OS 5.6.4.0 (636558720) My S7+ is running Verizon's Android 9.0 (Pie) latest build g965usqu4csc7, installed June 15.

  • Re: Pastors, How do you use illustrations with Logos?

I use a Word document that's a master file having an embedded file for used illustrations. I copy / paste each new illustration into the master file with a title suggestive of how I might use it. As I use each illustration, I highlight it gray & move it to the embedded file, which is only opened if I save the master file. Easy peasy, after initial
