• Re: Am I missing the obvious? Hebrew vs. Aramaic
The key is to get the reference to the Bible(BHS). Most of the time it suggested B ible(SBLGNT), which does not give the "Aramaic Portions" option. Is there any way to change the reference Bible in a consistent and reliable way?
Each Bible has its own 'Common Divisions'. You just need to ensure that the Bible with the

  • Re: ANNOUNCE: Discontinuation of Libronix Services

Kevin, Call Customer Services and they should be able to locate your old account. Perhaps it uses an old email address? Then they can merge your old account with your new one and your old resources will automatically download into Logos 8.

  • Re: How do I de-prioritize a resource in a commentary set?

An alternative method to doing this is to rename the series of the older volumes to something like "Tyndale Commentaries (Old)". Then you can prioritise those volumes separately. You can also rename multiple volumes at the same time. You can rename the series from the information pane in the library.
Just remember: Faithlife have not tagged the Hebrew canon portions of the LXX with person/place/thing (BK) data, when you search you're searching the person/place/thing analysis of the Hebrew text that is aligned to the LXX. Many times they represent the same entity, but there is no guarantee they will or that

Vincent, You've bumped into one of the more frustrating limitations of the Biblical entities dataset — that it's not possible to use wildcards (e.g. we can't just search for all mountains, or all places). The concordance is the workaround. In the NT we could use Louw-Nida ranges to give us a list of all places — but that's not available
I recently purchased Logos 8 Fundamentals. Previously, Logos would have a list of commentaries I own in the passage guide and explorer tab. I prefer using the explorer tool. Since purchasing Fundamentals, only the new resources from the Fundamentals package show up in guides and tools. I had over 500 books in my library before the

In this case, the phrase he prayed earnestly doesn't directly translate the Greek text, it's more idiomatic. You can see this by turning on the reverse interlinear

The collection was only $13 on Community Pricing, but nonetheless I agree. The Early English History bundle is pretty useless for proper study, because of the poor OCR and lack of tagging. That's fair enough for those who choose to buy that (it's product page is pretty clear about what you're buying). But I don't think its volumes should be included
