• Re: Please help with difficult search

I'd be inclined to use agent:Holy Spirit verb:any rather than subject:Holy Spirit verb:any , although using both would give you the fullest picture. The former should give you the semantic agent (the person who does whatever it is), while the second will give you the grammatical direct object of the verb. Usually they are the same, but it's possible

But with most recent layout still set to any, a restart just now took 35.483s by your metric (the most recent layout was blank).
I don't see anything obviously wrong in your logs. I think what has happened is that some things during startup got rearranging, causing the message to display earlier in the process than it used to. I believe the overall time to startup has not significantly changed, but the message will show up earlier.

  • Re: Exegetical Summary Commentary Series

BAGD has not been available in Logos since BDAG came out in 2000. You almost certainly won't be able to get a copy. There have been many requests to make it available again, but it hasn't happened – Logos can't get the rights . I think it's likely the the publisher can't offer the rights because of its contract with the authors of the third edition
Read the foreword.
Which isn't usually included in Logos editions… Back to the original question: there is no one 'Greek text'. There are various families of texts, which we tend to group into two familes: (1) Textus Receptus/Byzantine, and (2) Eclectic (Nestle-Aland/UBS). There are several (slightly different)
When I use the arrow keys to go tot he next commentary, what determines the order? I thought it was the next one in priority but it seems to be all over the place at times.
It is priority, but you can select a collection from the parallel resources dropdown, which sometimes limits the options.
