• Re: Missing resource in L4 (no, really!)
Some books produced by third parties have consistently poor metadata that interferes with features in the program. In other cases, they duplicate other books but with less functionality. We've built a list of books that aren't presented by default, but can be opened if you have a note or hard link to them. Ideally they should

Wes, You'll find highlighting on the Tools menu in L4 (under Library). Have you got the interlinear turned on in the NASB? (Look for the interlinear button at the top of the resource.) That should provide you with the information you need. Can't help you on note colours, I'm afraid. Mark

The OP is not asking how to transfer his resources, but how to transfer his collections (and then between L3 and L1 Mac).

That's annoying. I guess we'll have to fall back on the desiringgod.org website...
Mark, how do I find the resource ID's of the books that I can't find in my library. I know for sure I'm missing the matthew henry commentaries also and some bibles. Probably the ASV included. These are the E4 ones.
If you can open the resource in Logos3, you can choose "Copy Location to Clipboard" from the Favorites

  • Re: Logos 4 FAQs

Bob, This indicates a problem with .NET or the Visual C++ Runtimes. You should first make sure that Vista is up-to-date with SP2. You should then try and download/install the following: Visual C++ Runtimes .NET 3.0 .NET 3.5 If you get error messages, this will help you to determine the source of your problem. If you don't, try Logos again - it should

Logos should really fix the feed, which isn't valid. But in the meantime, you could use this: http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=fbc5040af9db07a8b6ad50355d5851f7&_render=rss It's the same feed just feed through Yahoo Pipes, which has the effect of cleaning it up.

  • Bibliographic report and Endnote/Evernote import now available

I needed a bibliographic report, which isn't available in Logos4, so wrote my own. A few other users have helped me with testing, so it's now available for anyone to use. You can access it here: http://www.4-14.org.uk/off-topic/logos4-bibliographic-report It's not perfect, and doesn't include all the information you may want. But it's better than nothing

  • Re: Importing new resources

Then I'm afraid I'm stumped! I think you'll need to call CS. It may be interesting to see whether it appears in my bibliographic report generator . That's not going to solve the problem, but it will at least tell us whether Logos4 has recognised the files or not.

  • Re: Ctrl-click links in notes in Logos 4 open Logos 3

OK. The likelihood is that updating Logos 3 partially reinstalled it, which updated the information in the registry that tells Windows what to do with libronixdls links. I'm not sure if this will entirely fix it, but check out HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\libronixdls\shell\open\command It should be the following (including quotes) "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData
While we would all like a jump to most recent post, as I have mentioned in the distant past we just don't have the information to be able to provide a link to an individual user's first unread post.
Then perhaps you should store that information - we'd all find it useful.

James, Can you try the following steps. Each one checks a different part of the process: Check the journals are not in Hidden Resources. In Logos 3, verify the journals are properly unlocked by going to Tools/Library Management/Account Summary, and checking they are there. In Logos 3, manually synchronise the licences by going to Tools/Library Management

You should make sure you run Logos with the same priveleges you had when you installed it. If you install as admin, then run as a user you can get problems.

  • Re: Importing new resources

If you make sure that your licences are synced in Logos 3, then next time you use Logos 4 the appropriate resources should be downloaded. If you wish, after syncing you could speed up the process by typing scan pathname in Logos4, where pathname is the path to your Logos3 resources (usually c:\program files\Libronix DLS\Resources).

It isn't possible, and it's lack is very frustrating. CTRL+F only works within the resource, and is not suitable for complex searches.
This is not an error. Do you see just above the search results, below the "Grid | Verses | Aligned" section where he has typed KJV? This will add an additional resource for comparison. I use this if I do a morph search so I can see the translation along with the original. When nothing is in the box it shows up as "+ Add Versions
