I have had a great time in the book of John and have learned a lot. The logos4 program has been a tool that has allowed me to see some things that were just not possible without it. One such fact probably overlooked by many is that while πιστεύω, believe, is found in John πίστις, faith is not. I was just wondering if a query could be written where other

Commenting on both David and George's post's: It would be nice if when you right clicked on a Greek word in a resource it would bring up a screen like normal with the selection, reference, lemma and so on on the right side of the window and in addition to the left side it would give you the option of searching "this book" and "this chapter". Options

Thanks, George, it just seemed like there should be a way. There are usually two or more ways to do things in software and I was just wondering. rod

  • Greek Lemma searching

I was wondering if there was a way to right click a Greek lemma and search a specific book such as John here in my example below? It would be nice to be able to right click a Greek word and change the scope of the search to something specific instead of searching the whole resource. I know you can do this by clicking on the magnifying glass but I would

[quote "Observation: could have replied to original post instead of starting a new thread"] Yes, I could have but I thought it necessary for the sake of the two responders to post it as a new post. I did link to it. I wanted them to see that I did not snub them but that the delay in response was due to the difficulty logging in. I was afraid after several

  • Flashcard Program

Sorry I have not replied sooner but I tried several times and was not able to log on. I even changed my password trying to get logged on but nothing seemed to work. Server down every time I tried to log on, who knows, their log on program does not tell you if you have an internet problem or their server is down, it just tells you your username or password

  • Re: library index

Yes, I knew I could rebuild the index from the command box. I am actually doing that now. I just wanted to do it by deleting those files because I know it will work. We will see if this rebuild does the job. Thanks for the help.

I am running version 4.3 SR-8 (4.30.0.1624). I think this version is only supposed to have 2 or 3 files in the library index folder. I deleted some or all of those files once before and rebooted logos and it reindexed just fine, problem solved. I just can't remember, I think I deleted all the files in the library index folder but I want to make sure

There is a post in the archive, I think it has to do with "slow text in notes" or something like that which explains about going into the libarary index and deleting some files (I think the post said there should be 2 or 3 files and when it's corrupted it has about 8). Well Logos is running 99% of my cpu again and I think I have the same problem (I

  • Re: Duplicate notes

I think I have found out the problem. I was under the asumption that if you ran both computers at the same time it would sync both computer to the same settings. Evidently this is where I grew such a crop of notes. Yes, I hope this is addressed in 4.5. Thank God for archives.

  • Duplicate notes

I have logos 4 on my original computer and it was working fine. I just put together another computer with 2 gig of ram thinking that I would eventually make this my default computer, seeing how logos 4 seems to be resource hungry. Now that I have logos 4 running on both computers I have noticed my notes on individual verses is growing (exponentially
