I am running Logos version 6.0 SR-4, and the bug has reappeared; the menu icon to change the Bible version has disappeared again. I have a Lenovo Helix running Windows 8.1.

On the PC anyway. I don't have an iPad.

I have lost the ability to toggle different Bible versions. The menu has disappeared. Is this just me, or has Logos removed the feature?

  • Logos 5 Screen Problem on Windows 8

I have a Samsung Smart PC Pro 700t. The tablet runs Logos 5 very well. However, I have uncovered a problem with the touchscreen. If the Logos 5 window is split into 2 with a Bible open in the left window (e.g. NKJV), and a study Bible open in the right window (e.g. Reformation Study Bible), with both windows in Link Set A, as I approach the screen with

I have just purchased and test driven THE case for the Samsung Smart PC Pro 700T. It's the IVSO® Slim-BOOK Stand Cover Case for Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro XE700T 11.6-Inch Tablet available from Amazon. It's $16.95 with free shipping. It fits the tablet perfectly (finally!), and you can also remove the stylus while the tablet is in the case (unlike most

Hi Shayne, Now I'm really on the spot! No worries, I believe you will really like the tablet. I did not remove the recovery partition. That said with all the software I have installed, I still have over 30Gb free on the SSD. I also have a 64Gb microSD card which I use for files, and this works fine. I've been thinking about putting a 256Gb SSD in as

This is not the one I have. I have the Samsung Ativ XE700T1C-A01US Smart PC Pro 700T. This one has an aluminum keyboard which is much heavier than the tablet that plugs into the keyboard. Due to the center of gravity, it is impossible for the combination to fall over backwards during normal use of finger or stylus selection. This was a problem on the

Hi Darren, I have not performed a run down test, but from my experience, I am probably getting around 6 hours. Following a full charge, the Windows battery meter tells me I have over 8 hours, but I'm not sure I believe that! My main use is Logos Bible study and reading (in the lazy boy!), and it is certainly fine for that. Best, Steve

I would check out all the reviews. This link only takes you to a very small number of 1 star reviews. Most of the reviews are 4 or 5 stars. Incidentally, I cannot agree with any of these 1 star reviews from my personal experience.

Hi Richard, Sorry for the delay in responding. I'm in California, and it's my day off ... Anyway, to answer your question, the stylus that comes with the 700t is an active stylus. With Logos open, as you approach the screen, without touching it, a small dot appears enabling you to position the pen on the screen with great accuracy (sort of like a laser

Agreed. My Samsung 700t also has an i5 processor. The included S pen allows highlighting and text correction sans keyboard, and the onscreen keyboard is great for notes. There is a slot at the back of the tablet that holds the pen when not in use. The tablet also comes with a keyboard which the tablet plugs into yielding what looks and feels like a

If you go to the Faithlife blog there is a post by Jack Chambers on January 28 where he describes this feature. There are even links to the different translations, but when I put one in my cart it says I already own it. As they have already done the work on this, it would be great to implement it in Logos 5.

  • Re: ESV Faithlife Study Bible Within Logos 5

Thanks for the response Graham. Actually, in the Faithlife app, e.g. for the iPhone, Logos has available different versions of the FSB, with the quoted Bible text in the study notes themselves from the ESV, NKJV, etc. So, when you are reading the ESV, for example, you can use the ESV version of the study notes. This does not appear to be available within

Is it possible to get the new Faithlife Study Bibles that correlate with different Bible translations, e.g. the ESV, within Logos 5?
