• Re: What would you tell your younger self about Logos?

Great question, dude: I am a non-pastor, non-sem + have had my rig since L3. I should have somehow convinced my younger self how to use Logos. I still am very, very wonky with it. My dislike re learning core basics is still intense. I should know by now how to create a collection. And remove a book from a collection. And how to disband the entire collection
This morning I saw a post on the Forum for a collection of 3 resources with a link "click here to get all 3 free". Without giving away too much information (causing embarrassment for the mistaken post). Another user commented that it was before 8 AM in the timezone of Faithlife offices and the link would be corrected when
I've just placed my pre order. Was it in time or am I too late?
If the product was live, the price listed would be USD29.99. As it is still USD17.99, I believe you are in time.

  • Re: Osborne Commentaries Volume 2 - Much Higher Price?!?

In general, FL's pre-order gig is too expensive. They tend not to have a ''pre-'' price, and so over charge. I hope enough people walk away from material thus priced to convince FL to modify their sales methods.

The ''lost'' books of John Walton do indeed need to be in Logos. Please consider setting up a pre-pub.
Thanks Scooter. Looks like this course has some extensive reading resources. Some I have but others I am adding to my wish list.
For TH211 log into the Faithlife.com site and search for th211
Thank you, Graham. I will remember, now. This will work for courses where FL has entered its Readings List. For Under Dev courses such as NT211, FL has not vouchsafed a list, as yet. Petah is right: the sooner the better.
As Graham explained, you don't need to purchase the course to obtain the document from the course's group. EDIT: You need to follow the group, though (regardless of course ownership). /EDIT In addition to that, you don't need to own the course to see the list of recommended reading documents in the courses tool, which will show

Hmm. Perhaps Logos would benefit from offering collections based on courses.
I'm shocked that they don't. It seems like a obvious companion product.
This would also shake loose products currently in bundles.
I still remain mystified at video course people (no offense). In college, I nearly died with lectures. I skipped all my math lectures in college and high math is my main professional tool of choice. I get a book, start reading. Instantly the author is discussing a book I don't have. I don't get excited. One right now just can't
