Question for those dealing with the issue... Were you on beta, or did you just recently update? It is my understanding that this feature is for "new users." Since EVERYONE is currently a "new user" (meaning "since this feature was released") it appears for EVERYONE. It is also my understanding that after a short period of time
We're doing some data collection in Marketing, and I'd like to know 2 things: 1.) Why did you upgrade to Logos 5? (what feature, resource, or program was most compelling to you?) 2.) How did you hear about it? (email, blog, forum, or smoke signal?)
L4 Mac was a dismal failure (for me) - hoped L5 would be improved (it
Can anyone reproduce?
confirm along with the other Mac users.

I believe you may be interested in what is called "serial resource association" which is in Libronix and now in L5.1. For more info see this post . So, as you reading in the OT (english) you will have your "linked" LXX (greek) with it, when you move into the NT (english) your "linked" LXX (greek) text will automatically change to your chosen NT (greek
You are correct; it is png. Guess will need to use Graphic Converter to make them jpg.
maybe not - see here
I went to settings and unchecked everything except "gloss" and "lemma (Greek)", but it is still showing up.
Jessica, choose "click" instead of "hover". see screenshot to see this click on the question mark. (Mac users are waiting for the forum to correct the "png" image display bug.) EDIT: oops... my answer doesn't
There's an active case about this.
Thanks Tommy!!
There's an active case about this.
The hebrew? or png images? both? just couldn't resist.

Thanks Jack. Results are mixed depending on what word processor the text is pasted into. Mellel seems to be the best of the three I have. Footnotes in one read L to R and cannot be corrected (think that was in NWP). Logos hopefully will revisit the Hebrew text rendering throughout the software, and additionally its output to word processors. [quote

Mitchell, what is your font choice?
-
I'm still unable to replicate this with your resources/settings
Tommy, after spending more time with this issue I'm able to now control this by font choice - using "default Logos 4", "times", "times new romans", or "tahoma" = the line break weirdness. Using fonts other than these = no line break. So I'm going to propose

Thanks fgh
Try restarting with justification on, and see if you can reproduce it then, with either setting?
Interesting - with justification on and then opening 2 resources = everything normal; then turn off justification = 1 resource normal and 1 resource with line break. Also interesting is changing the font "default Logos
What happens when you adjust the resource panel dimensions?
Tommy, see above post to fgh regarding justification setting in tools. Just for fun tried having "history" panel open or closed with 2 resources: made a difference that was repeatable. see "png" screenshots.
This is really interesting. Users voting so that the manufacturer will fix his (defective) product. But they don't think the manufacturer will likely notice. Ooops. Is already made this observation (but was significantly nicer).
Unable to resist.
Changing the file extension has to be done for each individual screenshot. Changing the setting in Onyx changes it once and for all.
I understand.
Haven't noticed it yet. Have you tried turning on justification?
I thought of that, but hadn't yet experimented with justification. Tried it just now and
For those of you on Mac: Onyx has a setting to automatically save screenshots in .jpg instead of .png.
Thanks fgh. Ah, but that would be changing my Mac's behavior. Just like changing the file ext. Ok, back on topic... fgh do you experience this line break behavior?
