Let me be clear: On-topic: "Does Faithlife use AWS?" "If AWS sent Faithlife a letter saying their account would be shut down in 24 hours, how would users access their books?" "What is Faithlife's disaster recovery plan?" "How do I install Logos offline?" "How do I use Logos completely offline so it's not dependent

It relates because of Parler.

this kind of intolerance towards Christians
Parler was not a Christian site and was not shut down for being Christian. That's all I'll say because I'm trying not to violate forum guidelines.
I'd respectfully
2. Some of us don't see how this relates to Faithlife software and its use
It relates because of Parler. In a single night, this platform was completely taken out, rendered utterly useless, because of politics, and Parler's dependence on services like Amazon. This thread is actually extremely important, and I'm interested

It's definitely gray. First thing I noticed. Not sure why they choose to make it that way.

I wanted Standard Platinum, and it normally cost me $402 (pre tax). Instead of buying outright, I bought Starter, then Bronze, etc.. up to it. which ended up at a total of around $378 (pre tax) So I saved about $24. Which I then promptly used to buy other small base packages (starters and such from different denominations). So overall not a huge savings
Both LA171 (Hebrew) and LA181 (Greek) should be available in the 2 courses for $99 program, but they are intentionally not eligible in the L9 included course program.
I tried adding these to the cart for use with the bonus code, but it is not discounting them. Can you look into this Ben? Thanks! Also,

First off, I love Logos Bible Software. It's seriously one of my favorite things. I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop that I carry around everywhere just for my Logos usage. So no hate from me here. I'm a loyal customer and fan. Secondly, I'm not really an old-timer, so I don't have a lot of experience with how upgrades and new releases flow. I

Yeah, this is poorly implemented. We should be able to use the preaching feature without the internet on our laptops.
-
Got to say, this is dumb. Why would the decision be made to load the preaching mode in the browser? Logos desktop should be able to function without the internet. You should be able to take a laptop anywhere and use the full program. FaithLife needs to rethink this one.
-
Agreed. I ordered a while back.

So with all this talk of Logos Research editions and Logos Reader editions, and then Faithlife ebooks, I find myself in a bit if a conundrum. We've always been told (and I agree with this) that when it comes to kindle prices on books compared to Logos "research" editions, that the disparity comes largely from the work that goes into all the manual tagging

Agreed.

Trying to go from erasmian to koine pronouciation. I would love an audio Greek New Testament in koine, but the only one on logos is erasmian. John Schwandt's mobile ed course on Greek is in koine, so when are we going to to get an audio NT to match?

I can't figure out the actual math for calculating dynamic pricing. If I was looking at a bundle of 3 books, how could I calculate what the bundle price would be if I bought one of the books outright? For example, if a bundle cost $15 for three books, and the books are normally priced at $10 each (amounting to $30 if I bought all three separate), then
Hey Christopher did they say that your information was not sent to familylife? I have talked to them today seeking the same and I am now waiting on a supervisor to call. (because according to him "everyone" is at a meeting). I guess buying at logos is buyer beware from now on!!!
She said she wasn't sure. She
Can I return this product and get my personal data back? :)
I ordered it, then saw this thread, then called and had them take it off my account before I opened up logos and downloaded anything.

So I'm wondering what the best way is to add external articles or other works like that into your library so that they show up when you research a topic. For example, if I found a good article on the problem of evil, what have you found to be the best place to import that: personal books? Notes? Sermon document? Something else?
-
Wow. Guess I should have snagged that. Sneaky sneaky.

So I saw on another thread something to the effect that if you purchase a faithlife ebook of a work that is not on logos yet, and then it comes to logos, that you will get the logos edition free. Is that true? Furthermore, does it work if there is already a logos edition? For example, William Lane Craig's time and eternity: There is a faithlife ebook

I pretty much agree with all that Bruce posted above, BUT I think that faithlife CAN do something about these things. Figure out a way to let us lend books, something that is fair for everyone. Also, as I wrote in another post, focus on improving the reading experience. Allow us to change the fonts of individual resources, and allow us to set images
