• Re: Is Biblia.com bad on purpose?

Hi luoar, I don't personally use Biblia.com, but perhaps you could point out some specifics so they have a direction for improving the site. Terms like "bad" or "amateur" are general enough to make it difficult to identify your actual criticism. I'm sure you have something in mind, so perhaps it would be more helpful to share those specific features

Hi Room4more, Take a look at M.J.'s picture. There are two items with the same title. One is the resource, and the other is the "invisible" dataset if I understand correctly.

Michael, If you read this in time, I'd suggest this graphics card. Can't beat the value, and I've heard of people selling the game keys to recoup $50 or so. The rebate ends tonight. Radeon 7790 for $109.99 After Rebate

Yes, you can. I'm not sure how extensive the citations are (and therefore how helpful it is to you) but you can search it from either the search bar or search panel.

Luigi, You've obviously put a lot of work and thought into this. Your diagram is clear, and I want to thank you for it. I wish I had your mapping skills. If it helps, I don't think the issue is with the "fairness" of your solution. I think the question is whether any change is necessary. 1) So far, I don't think many other non-Catholics have cared that

It would have to depend on your budget, but Goldingay's three volumes on Psalms is very good, in my opinion. If you have the funds, it is worth consideration.
Seriously, your problem is that
Andrew, I agree with you your post. I do think, however, that you might have worded the title in a more winsome way for those who don't agree with you, since your purpose was to encourage and cultivate gratitude. The substance of your post was excellent, but the title may turn some

where would we see this credit?
my question exactly
Log in to the Logos.com website, and look at your account details. If you have a credit, it will be in a box in the upper-right. I believe those receiving credits were from upgrading to Logos 5. When the price was lower/adjusted/recalculated

Yes, this resource was from before Logos centralized their resources. At that time the publishers were able to come out with their own versions, and in some cases, quality suffered. If you look at the box, it says "eBible." Although it was actually the Libronix engine, it was marketed and sold as a separate Bible software. Thomas Nelson sold it from

  • Re: Christmas Bundles: Where is the 75% discount?

Perhaps I'm the only one concerned, then. It may be that the only way to get above a 50% discount is to own some books already, so the discount appears larger than it actually is. I purchased one bundle for $3 (a 99% discount) because I had all but one book. OR, it may be that some books in the bundle are discounted more than others. Let's say, for
In some cases appearences can be a little deceptive: the 91% shown below is "my price" relative to the regular prices of ALL the included items. The price to me after crediting what I already owned worked out to the advertized 75% off.
If this is how the discount over 50% is achieved, then I'm disappointed. 1
You should never make a purchase—Logos or otherwise—just because of a stated discount percentage
These are words of wisdom with which I agree. I don't make purchases simply because of discount percentage. The point is that I still have not found the 75%, so what I'm really questioning is the honesty of the advertising

While I appreciate the replies, I'm still looking for an answer to the original post. I don't see the 75% discount unless some of the books in the bundle are already owned. Anyone figured it out?

  • Re: Discounted prices

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the Christmas bundles, which have the exact wording he quoted: " Your price could be lower! You will receive a discount for the books you already own. The discount will be applied in checkout" Some of the bundles have dynamic pricing, so the price on the page reflects the discounted price. Not all of the bundles have

The price in your shopping cart is lowered to reflect a discount for what you already own.
