• Re: Hand-selected Book Bundles

Interesting. So what you're observing is that different books in the bundle have been discounted at different rates. If this is what the "up to 75%" refers to, it is pretty misleading, since the only way to have a bundle discount reach that is to own certain (less discounted) books. Possibly they made a mistake in discounting, or were overzealous in

Thanks for pointing this out. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise, and I'll have to check out the titles when I have more time. Has anyone found a bundle that is 75% off? They're advertised as "up to 75% off" but so far every bundle I've checked is 50% off, with no variation.

  • Francis Chan Collection

I noticed that the Francis Chan Collection was recently put up on pre-pub: http://www.logos.com/product/28584/francis-chan-collection Some of these title were previously for sale on Vyrso, but have since been removed. Can someone from Logos please comment on whether the Vyrso versions will be updated with Logos tagging? Also, is this something we can
What we need is a 3rd party reader that can use logos books. I would pay money for that
This must be exaggeration, because you can use Logos software as a reader. Otherwise, you're offering to pay for something that is already free, perhaps because you're upset over a purchase you didn't need to make. You could've downloaded

  • Re: Discount calculator problems

The NAC might have some updated volumes that you don't own. In cases like that, even though the entire series is listed, you're still being discounted for those volumes of the series that you own. This was explained in another post by a Logos employee. If you have the entire, up-to-date series and it is still showing as new, then there may be a bug

I have a feeling this will require a very, very large number of bids at $4 to succeed. Smart marketing.
whether you think it's true that Logos is outstripped by Accordance when it comes to language studies
What does "outstripped" mean in this case? I have L4 Platinum as well as the scholars version of the "other software." Logos is slow in comparison, and takes a few more keystrokes to use, but it does pretty much everything

  • Re: Hesitant to Use Academic Discount Due to Lack of Transferability

I believe that academic purchases can be transferred. To prevent it from being abused, Logos has policies for purchasing. If I recall correctly, multiple copies of base packages cannot be purchased using the academic discount. It is one per person. I don't know if it is the same with individual titles. But, feel free to wait for official verification

I think we need a new thread that says "initial price too low." I had initially bid $50, but upon realizing that it will never gather enough support at that price point, raised my bid to $100. Many people who come to the forum won't read the discussion, and will only see the title and OP.

Dominic, This is great! Thanks for sharing with us. I was curious if you had an idea about what causes the "warning" when it is compiled. I know from the wiki that it isn't something to worry about (possibly points to a resource that isn't in my library) but was still curious what causes it. The code looks clean to me, so seems a mystery. Thanks!

Not currently. If you have them in PBB, you probably have the docx somewhere, though, which you could read on the iPad.

  • Re: PBB Help: Consistent Outline Display

Thanks Mick and Rosie, I still think I'm confused. When I start a new document I have no problems. The problems occur when I try to mark up existing documents. The formatting can be inconsistent, so I try to go through and standardize the formatting before applying styles. This resulted in what we see in the original sample document I uploaded. Let

  • Re: PBB Help: Consistent Outline Display

That is helpful, but I'm also interested in a mark-up workflow. For styles, how do you organize and apply them? Do you have different styles on a per-document basis, or use a starting template for all PBB files? Have you made keyboard shortcuts for commonly used styles? Those are the sorts of questions I'm curious about. Thanks for all the help today
