  • Re: Camp Logos

For my money, I would CL again in a heartbeat. I've found the online stuff useful as a supplement, but nowhere near as useful as CL. Worth every penny and then some. You cannot really grasp the difference it will make. A pastor friend of mine and I went 5 years ago, and are even planning to go again in the coming year. Do it. Reid

It took a little time for my confirmation as well, but it did come through and I do have the service now and it works fine for me. I hope it works as well for you. The SSD you cite is just 200gb. So depending on how much storage you need, may be large enough. Mine is 500gigs and I've found it huge. Scandisk is a reliable name brand. Reid

The Thunderdrive service was $49.00, one time for life. They run this special from time to time as do a few other services. https://thunderdrive.io/ As for an SSD, something like this from Amazon is available everywhere: SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable External SSD - Up to 550MB/s - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-1T00-G25 Just a USB is all that's needed for

Not quite sure what you are asking for here. Dropbox is cloud based so you need the internet. There are other services like Thunderdrive thatrun specials for online space. I paid a one time $49.00 for 2 TB. But if it must be accessible without internet than you might want to look into something like a portable SSD. Again you can get 1 or 2 TB pretty

  • Re: How many resources is it advisable to download?

Sorry for your woes there Denise. I've used the app for several years and only had to reinstall once ever. And I have near 2K worth of resources downloaded. Now if I DID have to do a reinstall, I would lower the number just because I'm lazy and due to the time involved. 😜

  • How many resources is it advisable to download?

Over time I have downloaded the majority of my resources to my iPad. I use my iPad extensively off line. However I heard somewhere recently that fewer is better. Is there consensus on this? And if so, is there an optimum number? Thanks! Reid

  • Format Bible passages in SE

When you click on the add Bible text icon to add a passage to SE, there is no way to reformat the text once the text comes in. So say you have brought in a Psalm, the poetic formatting displays and there is no way to remove all of the extra spacing etc. I would love to be able to edit those passages, perhaps add ellipses at times, etc. But I love using

  • Re: No note indicators in the NET Bible?

Thanks Graham, it was odd, but I got it cleared up. When I got home, I fired up my laptop, and the notes didn't show up there either. But, it was just starting to index (must have been a download of some sort). Once it was done indexing, the notes came back on the laptop, and then, after a short delay, they repopulated on the iPad. So it seems that

  • No note indicators in the NET Bible?

All of my notes show up in all of my other resources (so far) except the NET Bible. At least on my iPad. And yes, I do have the Notes tool toggle on. Tried toggling it off and back on but no change. Thanks! Reid

Thanks for working on it Adam - but the app version is still only working kinda-sorta. There are templates I've been using for more than a month which are unfindable. Lots of new artwork which is awesome, but almost no functionality in searching them. And all the new categories on the left pane are without clear explanation. No doubt y'all attempted

  • Sermon editor slide formatting

I am assuming that these tools will become more robust in the future. But if nothing else, those too,s should be identical to the those in Proclaim. For instance, drop shadow for text. If you want it, you have to go back and reformat each text slide once exported to Proclaim. If we've already done that formatting in the SE we shouldn't need to add additional

  • Sermon editor oddity

This is not a problem per se, just an oddity. Sometimes, when I go back and edit someting in Sermon Editor, the edited portion has a white background against the sepia view setting I have both on my iPad and PC. I've attached a screen shot.

  • Re: "D. A. Carson Sermon Library (Media)"

Thanks David. This is clearly something which needs to be addressed. It came up when I queried whether or not one could download the audio or video for any one of these sermons individually. Logos says no. You have to download the entire collection. Something else which needs corrected. Blessings: Reid
