Looking forward to this volume coming out of pre-pub on 12 Nov. https://www.logos.com/product/175338/the-pericope-of-the-adulteress-in-contemporary-research ... and a pretty thorough review here if interested.
Thank you for the tip, Robert!

  • Category Section Headers in Prioritize Pane / Dead link on Wiki page

I'm planning to implement some revisions on my L8 Prioritized Resources list, and I would like to insert resource-type section header lines like I have seen in some of the Wiki screen shots. This wiki page appears to provide a link (See the bottom of the screen shot below. Link points to #PBSeparator) for how to insert those lines, but the link doesn

  • Daily Deal is 0% off?

It looks like today's "Daily Deal" on logos.com is offering no discount. Am I remembering correctly that the Daily Deal is typically 1/2 price?

  • Re: Is there a hack to make Clippings work with non-owned resources?

Doc, I have thought that would be helpful functionality as well. For now, I use the L8 notes tool to record that kind of information, and frequently tag the notes to enhance search-ability. A bit inconvenient in that information I would like to review is not all together in one clipping document or notebook. But at least I can get to what I'm seeking

  • Re: Opening a verse range in Logos?

You can also share a reading plan in Faithlife groups, and the web page will clearly mark the end of the text for each day's reading, but the verses that follow are still visible. Oh well. Looking forward to the TLV.

  • Re: Opening a verse range in Logos?

Got it. That is an interesting point. Biblia does indeed display only the verse range specified, but the Logos 8 desktop application displays the text that follows Genesis 2:3. By the way, thanks a lot for costing me $10 to buy yet another translation for my library. . I didn't have that one, but will plan to read it in the year ahead. May I ask why

  • Re: Well, I'm TRYING to buy it! (Tabletalk July 2000)

Thanks so much, Bradley. That is one technique I had not attempted. After seeing your reply I tried the "Quick Buy" button in L8. Logos 8 sputtered a while, indicating it was processing the order, then it displayed a confirmation message: It is very kind of you to weigh in on this early on a Sunday, Bradley. I really appreciate the helpfulness, and

  • Re: Opening a verse range in Logos?

Miguel, the quickest way may be to simply enter the verses into the "Go box." Does that accomplish what you are seeking to do?

  • Re: Add notes between anchors

If I understand your question correctly, I currently do something similar by simply adding an additional note to the same verse or selection. But there is no way for me to tell whether a particular note includes my comments or those of another commentator without hovering over the note icon or clicking it to open the note.

  • Re: SUGGESTION: The Genesis Debate

I did my part for the logging industry and ordered a physical copy of this book. Does anybody have any input on whether there is any reasonable chance that it will eventually be offered by Faithlife?

Faithlife, are there plans to implement the ability to tag resources from the mobile app?

  • Surprised by the absence of Surprised by Scripture

N.T. Wright's Surprised by Scripture has been on the market for years, by I'm not seeing on logos.com or ebooks.faithlife.com. Elsewhere online I'm seeing an ebook version from HarperCollins and print copies from HarperOne. My Logos library has plenty of titles from those publisher entities, so I'm thinking it's not a publisher problem? Or does Faithlife

Thank you, MJ, I should have mentioned that I did check my library. Somewhere in the middle of the process. I have a handful of Tabletalk issues, but the July 2000 one is not among them.

  • Well, I'm TRYING to buy it! (Tabletalk July 2000)

The July 2000 issue of Tabletalk Magazine appeared in the Bookstore section of the results of a Logos 8 search that I ran. I clicked the orange "add to cart" button, but rather than adding that resource to my logos.com cart, whatever it is doing results in a web page that displays "your shopping cart is empty." After trying that another two or three

  • Re: New Testament Use of the Old Testament Interactive Missing the Original Language Button

Interesting, Wesley. Heres what it looks like for me, in Logos 8 for Mac (8.8.0.0046): Clicking the Original Languages toggle results in this view: Does your Logos library include the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament , 28th Edition (NA28), and The Old Testament in Greek according to the Septuagint (LXX Swete)? If not, I wonder if that might be the problem

I can confirm the problem also exists in the desktop version of Logos 8. I can also confirm continued disappointment that this resource does not include transcripts.

  • Re: Tagging in Mobile App

Thank you Graham. That thread addresses tagging for notes ( and I am glad FL is working on that), but my question is about tagging books , not notes . Are you thinking it is likely that tagging will be implemented for both notes and books at the same time?

  • Tagging in Mobile App

There have been so many times I have wanted to add tags to books using the mobile app when I am miles away from my computer. I am grateful that I can view my tags in the Book Info screen on the mobile app, but are there plans to add tagging functionality to the mobile app? Does that functionality exist now, and I just don't know how to do it?

Thank you for highlighting these pre-pubs, Ben. I had already pre-ordered one of them, and now I'm also in for the Daniel volume. Looks interesting.
