• Re: Notes and Highlights on ipod touch

I don't think that's it. When I select text, I still only have the options of "Copy, Look Up, Search." No option to highlight anything.

  • Notes and Highlights on ipod touch

Am I missing something? I downloaded the iphone 2.0 app for my ipod touch. I did notice the page-shifting issue already mentioned in the forums, correctable by turning off header and footer. But on that same "View Settings" page, I don't have any option available for "Notes and Highlights." There's nothing to turn on or off. I can choose "Red Letter

Same thing for me this morning. I suspect it might be on Logos' end, hopefully just a hiccup. We'll watch and wait.

  • Re: Netbook

Hi, Michael If you can get the Macbook Air, it would be great. I've been running L4 on an Acer 1410 11.6" netbook, with 3GB and 320 hard drive, for two years. Very fast and convenient; it's the one I take everywhere with me. That model is no longer available, but Acer is now selling their 11.6" Aspire One 722, which I have been tempted to pick up. You

I see that this long-waited-for book has now been published in paper. Any idea if and when we might see it in Logos?

  • Re: Vatican II Documents on Pre-pub!

Indeed, the Catechism would be a great resource, the newest 1994 edition, with searchable Scripture references. But the older ones, like Pius X and the Baltimore Catechisms would be an asset, too.

  • Re: After preaching on Sunday, anyone have the Monday "blues?"
In all the 30 plus years I have preached, Sunday highs are met by Monday lows--often times severe. Just wondering if other preachers go through this experience. And if you have found something that makes Monday's easier to bear with.
In 30 plus years like yourself, Steven, I've frequently found Mondays, sometimes

  • Re: Notes on Logos for Mac

Hi, Greg. I was having the same problem/question, too. But I think I found the difficulty. There are two places where you can type text in a note file entry. The first is on the same line as the resource indicated, whether "Hosea 12:10" or "Grudem's Systematic Theology." This typing box on the same line may or may not have text already in it, depending

Okay, it's just one of those "duh" moments, when I confused the note title line with the note content line. Everything is working great. My bad.

  • Notes icon

If I open, let's say, my note file "Ezekiel" and make a specific note to "Reference Ez 34.25," the note icon will appear on that verse in all my Bibles. If I make that note on my PC, then when I hover over the note icon, I can see the contents of my note, whether I'm using Logos4PC or my synched Logos4 Mac (including the new Gold update). But if I make

  • Re: Prayer List Bug?

Hi, Jack Nope, I don't have the Mac Alpha on my machine. It will be interesting to look at my home page tomorrow and see what shows up. Will there be three copies of each list? Will the "every two/three day" requests be up again? This is interesting!

  • Prayer List Bug?

Is anyone else having this bug? It's happened twice to me now. I'm using the regular 4.0c SR-2, running on XP under Parallels 5 on a Macbook with 4gb. I worked through my 6 prayer lists this morning and all were "done for today." Then about two hours later, on my home page, I had 6 new prayer lists. The ones I had already prayed through were still marked

Those of us who purchased the Vol 1 CD, 12 vols, know that this is a great resource. We'll also be interested to see what IVP and Logos can do to allow us an upgrade path. I'd rather purchase through Logos than through a competitor, if the price is fair.

Wow ! Great suggestion ! After years of searching in Paris, I finally found the two volumes in French in an old, dusty bookstore on the Left Bank. It's gold! I didn't know it was available in English.

. En attendant, ne soyons pas trop sévères

  • Re: Logos 3 Notes

That's right. You don't have to have L3 installed, but you do need a folder in "MyDocuments/Libronix DLS" for the folders "Annnotations", "ResourceMarkup", "PrayerLists", etc. When you "Import All" or just one of those items, L4 will look there for what it needs. So you can just copy those folders and files there. Mine all came in beautifully on a new

Hey, Jacob I've been following some of your comments and help on other posts, and wondering how your health is doing and what the follow up studies showed. Many of us have been praying for you. (And then, duh, I saw that GraceBible had a Tempe address and I looked it up. I, too, became a Christian at Arizona State, outside the MU, in March of 1972!

Add my voice positively to this discussion. I'm reading this year through the ESV Study Bible on my ipod touch (still waiting for any Logos version) with the Kindle app, though I also have it in OliveTree. Kindle at least allows me to highlight in the notes and articles. (I'm not promoting Kindle!) I'd love to be able to do that with L4, offline on

  • Re: Bad News for Those Who Purchased the Calvin 500 Upgrade

Same thing, Lloyd. I have the AGES commentaires, but all I received with the upgrade in L4 was the volume by Haroutunian. None of the new commentaries (like in Rosie's post). I tried running the update script for L3, from my order page at Logos, and it doesn't pick up anything, not even Haroutunian, for L3. Looks like a busy Monday for our colleagues
