  • Augustine ACCS NPNF

In the ACCS, references to Augustine's sermons are to the Benedictine sermon numbering, but Logos links them to the NPNF sermon numbering. Clicking on a ACCS link to an Augustine sermon, when it takes me to NPNF, puts me 50 sermons away from the actual text I want to read. I reported a "typo" for one instance, but do not think that is best for all the

  • Re: Search - ANDEQUALS vs INTERSECTS vs WITHIN

All of these are helpful to clear it up. My confusion was thinking that I was creating a logical set of verses virtually created by searching for <Person Jesus> and comparing it to the logical set of verses virtually created by searching for the lemma:kurios. That is why all the examples of "within" this or "intersects" that were so confusing

That makes more sense. Ro 13:14 is a really good example, but I think it is because the phrase "Lord Jesus Christ" is tagged together as <Person Jesus> (not each word). When I search for <Person Jesus> in Ro 13, it only comes up as one hit, not three. This was the key (and I thank you for pointing it out) to me understanding what was going

Wow. That is very helpful. I thought I had read that page. It is still confusing. I'll have to work through several of the results to compare to the explanations. Thank you!

  • Search - ANDEQUALS vs INTERSECTS vs WITHIN

    I've read in different places that <Person Jesus> INTERSECTS <Lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> and <Person Jesus> ANDEQUALS <Lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> and <Lemma = lbs/el/κύριος> WITHIN <Person Jesus> are all ways of finding everyplace that

  • Re: Reset Reading Plans

Thank you for the attempt. I tried these steps and it looks like it took the unread reading and put it at the end of the list. Everything else is still marked as read and none of the dates updated. One difference is that mine is a Custom Plan and not a predefined plan from Logos.

Here is a screen shot when I pull up the reading plan. I set a new start date of Jan 7 (Thursday). All the dates update from there, but all the readings remain "checked". I can set the start date to whatever I want and the dates for each reading will populate properly, but it will always remain "completed" and I can never get it started again.

  • Re: Reset Reading Plans

I've tried this. Logos changes all the dates in the reading plan, but leaves each day marked completed (with the green check mark). So, the software thinks I have completed all the readings and does not even show a card for the plan on the home page.

  • Reset Reading Plans

I have quarterly discipleship materials that require Bible readings each day. I created 4 different reading plans (one for each quarter) with the readings. I went through them and checked each day off as I read. Now, I want to take a different group through the material, and want to restart my reading plan. I can edit the start date, but it lists as

How do we make this a feature request? The power of Logos is ability to search. I'm tired of flipping through countless pages of useless hits because I cannot access the collections that have been so painstakingly created...

  • Duplicate Ebook vs. Logos

For a few of the resources in my library, I have two separate books that are exactly the same - not a revised edition, not multiple volumes - side by side exactly the same at every point. The only difference I find is listed under "edition" : one is "Ebook" and the other is "Logos". Sometimes the "ebook edition" will have a copy of the cover in the
