  • cleaning the forum....?

I was just doing a search on a topic and realized I was drawing search results from 2008, 2009, 2010...etc. Is there any way to search just relevant documents? I mean, Logos has changed so much the last few years, it seems to me that there's isn't any need to bring up posts anymore that don't pertain because they are no longer relevant - issue has been

  • I don't get it What is Vyrso

Am I missing something significant? I open Vyrso on my iphone and it looks an awful lot like Logos on my iPhone. I can get the same books either place and less functionality with Vyrso. What is the point of Vyrso? Someone please explain to me.... Thanks.

  • Un-Natural Scrolling in Logos Home Screen

So, I've actually learned to like the natural scrolling of OSX Lion. I like my trackpad and magic mouse and the ability to scroll through things up and down or side to side. Except Logos hasn't caught on yet..... Is there any way, when I'm in the home screen and want to look at one of the other screens that I don't have to swipe backwards to go forwards

Thanks for the feedback. I will email tech support. Normal behavior? - the terminal command: defaults read com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4 LoggingEnabled shows that it is enabled.... Yesterday I could get in with the launch/CMD button held down and chose work offline. But as soon as I tried to do anything, it would crash. This morning, I can't even

okay...thanks. I was able to at least get it to open when I did that. Much appreciated. As soon as I tried to open any resource, it crashed again. I tried using offline, online, blank page or not. Anytime I click on a resource, it crashes. I can now open without the CMD button, and I can see the menus and open the list of menus, but as soon as I click

  • Re: Suddenly crashing - can anyone help?

Just for the record, I'm having this same problem right now. I cannot find my log file at all! Followed the above directions. I don't know if this works in offline mode, because after the signing in, it goes to the main screen with the spinning wheel and runs for a few seconds then crashes. I've been able to get to the preferences in that time period

  • Non-Stop CRASH! AAAUGH!

I cannot get into Logos at all. I used it yesterday just fine. I have been using it regularly without any problems. Now the opening screen comes up and the spinning wheel as it's seeking to load the logos home content and then crashes. I cannot figure out what's going on.... I've restarted my machine - an old Windows trick - but that didn't help. I

  • ESV Marker Missing

I was reading in the book of Job today, chapter 30 and noticed that there was no chapter marker. After chapter 29, then vs. 1, but no "Chapter 30". It doesn't affect the use of finding chapter 30, but it isn't consistent in the user interface.... Just thought someone ought to know.... See the picture:

  • Re: Nearly Ready to Make the Switch

I'm running a 4gb MBP that is less than a year old. I can't complain about the speed of Logos. It is drastically better than it was a year ago. It is good and useful and well worth the trade up to a mac. But thanks for the tip Paul, I may find myself buying the 2 4gb sticks as well.

Josh, how do you create a custom reading plan and paste anything in it? I'm in Mac....

  • adding links? How?

I want to make a customized reading plan that Logos "Reading Plans" won't let me do. It's actually from the LIFE Journal Reading Plan from Wayne Cordeiro in Hawaii. A single day's reading plan might look like this: September 13. Ezekiel 33-35, Revelation 18 How do I make each of these a link so that I don't have to type in the Bible to get there, but

  • Re: How would you do this in the iOS App?

First, How'd you get the NIV on the iPhone/iPad - as I can't find anywhere that it's available yet and certainly not available on mine.... Second, I tend to take Todd's response. I have a few commentaries that I go to on a regular basis - I tend to like the New American Commentary, but don't know how scholarly it is. It's written in plain English for

doh! I've been pondering whether to put Windoze back on my machine just for notes and clippings. Yet here I am, with an evernote file system with over 2400 notes in it. Guess it's good to read other people's forum posts once in awhile just to make your brain think again. Thanks Luuk!

Yep, I posted the same thing over here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/29754.aspx But I also included the cut and paste - as the YouVersion also allows you to do that.
