• Re: YHWH in the New Testament Resource?
The NT writers‘ Old Testament Scriptures no longer contained YHWH in it but was replaces by ‘the LORD’ like we have in our modern day Bibles. So in the NT when they say Lord, sometimes they mean Lord as in the Lord Jesus, sometimes they mean Lord as in ’sir’ as a polite greeting, and other times They

  • Re: an uptodate greek commentary on the prophetic verses
what commentary do you recommend? I cant find much on 2 pet 3.10, it seems like peter says the earth will burn up twice, only one commentary says that it might not be what peter is saying, but I need more referances Thanks
The crucial step is to compare how language like this was used and understood. There's a very

  • Re: How do you handle switch from studying to reading?

I open the book in a new window, and move it onto a 2nd monitor. Plenty space. Great for scrolling. And I can still see the Info window, Bible text etc on the other window. FWIW, my 2nd monitor is rotated to portrait mode.

  • New website issue

The new website doesn't show me resources in a collection. The checkbox "Hide resources I own" is not shown if I already own them all. I was looking to see if BW3's new book Biblical Theology was available, so I checked this collection: https://www.logos.com/product/43932/eerdmans-ben-witherington-biblical-theology-collection You'll notice there's no
Considering the two resources I really wanted (OT Pseudepigrapha and Dead Sea Scrolls: A New Translation) have a combined RRP of ~£100, I think that is a really good deal. Add to that the rest of the bundle is a rich background text gravy on top, I am a very happy and grateful man right now.
Good choice. Liam

  • Re: Revelation from Idealist Approach?
Isn't Beale from Nigtc idealistic?
Beale describes himself as eclectic, i.e. taking the best from each of the approaches. So, yes, he includes (but is not limited to) the Idealistic approach. Beale's strength is in recognizing how Revelation reuses images images from the Old Testament. Wordy, but good. The other book
Can anyone recommend a resource in Logos that explains the idealist/spiritual approach of Revelation? I would like something more in depth than a "Four Views" book. I have Dennis Johnson's commentary preordered but would like to add more to my library in order to be able to study it well. Thanks in advance.
For a quite straightforward
