Would love to see these books by Forde, Wengert, Paulson, Bayer, et al. in Logos format.

I had posted this a while back and did not see any Logos acknowledgement in the forum. The issue still exists. Today is Ascension - previously, the ribbon on the home page for the lectionary would say: June 2, 2011 | Easter The Ascension of our Lord Ac 1:1-11, Ps. 47, etc. However, for a while now it just says: June 2, 2011 | Easter Ac 1:1-11, Ps. 47
Hi Tom, I'm not sure what's causing this crash, but it's related to the library index (and may be unrelated to the HCSB update). Unfortunately, I don't have a quick workaround, but you should be able to avoid the problem by rebuilding your index.
I removed the HCSB resource before doing this, and apparently all

Bradley - Here is the crash file.

[Did not notice that this is all posted under the PC Beta section - I am NOT running the Beta, I am on Windows 7] I ran through the steps outlined by Bradley, and am still getting crashes. The crash log is reporting the "Index was outside the bounds of the array" error as noted earlier.

Edited to say BUG - thanks, Rosie!

I had noticed that this was gone for a while, but never got around to reporting it: Previously, the Lectionary feature on the Home page ribbon looked like this: Sunday, April 10, 2011 | Lent Fifth Sunday in Lent [Readings for the Day] now it just says: Sunday, April 10, 2011 | Lent [blank space where description of day like "Fifth Sunday in Lent" used

My workstation at my vicarage (pastoral internship) won't handle 4.0, so I want to install 3.0g. Our network admin is on vacation, so is unavailable to give admin rights for the install. Windows is giving me the option of installing under my username. Since I will be the only one working at this station, will 3.0g install successfully, and will update

Thanks, Kevin! I guess the step I'm wondering about is the "prepare" part of it. I wasn't sure if that "Prepare notes for import" needs the resources the notes refer to in L3 in order to have completely functional importation. Tom
-
I have yet to import my notes from L3. My installations were: Desktop with L3 only (too underpowered to run L4 well) Laptop with L3 and L4 and extensive notes in L3 Netbook with L4 only Number 2 died, but I had all my personal Libronix files, including notes, backed up. I replaced number 2 with a new laptop. Of course L4 installed and runs just fine

Have had this happen twice recently Check definition of a word in BDAG. Close application. Next day, select Bible Reading Plan. Screen opens back to where BDAG was day before, never changing to appropriate spot in ESV. Going back to home and reselecting reading plan results in same thing. Workaround: Get "location screen" while BDAG showing. Click on

Thanks all!!!! (and thanks for the bump, Dave!) This will help.

I have a paper coming up which asks me to compare and contrast a Lutheran pastoral theology text (that we use here at seminary) with a non-Lutheran pastoral care/theology text from a different denominational tradition (or one from a more global position). I have Oden's 4 volumes of Classical Pastoral Care - but this is longer than what is needed (and

Thanks Dave for the reassurance. It's been too long with XP! I really appreciate all the patient help you have given to me and everyone else out there. Tom

Hengstenberg on the Psalms started in Community Pricing, went through PrePub, and is now safely in my resources! Now that it's done, how about starting Hengstenberg's 4 volume Christology of the Old Testament in Community Pricing? Tom

I am having this problem too. I did my reading this morning before updating the iPod with the new software, and that didn't sync, so Logos 4 on the laptop showed my reading as unread. Updated iPod app shows reading complete on home page, but "Mark Read" is not checked. Checked it again and it still is not syncing. Tom
You'll have problems with updates to L4 having installed "as Administrator" - because now you will have to run L4 "as Administrator" when you receive a software update (don't start L4 like that all the time, only when a download fails). L4 is a per-user installation so didn't need privilege to install (you might get a UAC prompt

I almost missed this post - I was on the Logos website to check if any of my prepubs have moved from N/A to an estimated ship date, since I'm close to cresting another hundred marker. Tom

Forgot one thing. I installed my Logos 4 into my user drive from that account using "Run as Administrator". But do I install Libronix 3 in the Administrator account to begin with, or should it still be in my personal user account?
