  • Re: Logos 7 Basic Available Now (formerly free core engine)

While I understand this perspective, I must say that I know lots (a majority) of people serving in parish ministry who have lost their ability to work in the biblical languages for whom Logos and a reverse interlinear would be a great way to become reintroduced to tools they have forgotten since Seminary. I'm noodling around developing some material

  • 7.4 RC1 Morph Search

If I'm building a morph search with more than 1 lemma (lemma:ἄπιστος NEAR lemma:διαστρέφω), I can usually build the search by typing g: in the search field then begin typing the transliterated first lemma and picking it from a popup list. If i do that same routine with the second

  • Table of Contents 7.4 B4

I'm sure in previous versions there has been a Table of Contents entry for each resource under the resource menu. Its helpful to see the table of contents when working with Louw-Nida from time to time, but I can't find a way to bring it up. What am I missing?

  • Search View Analysis not working in NA28

On macOS 10.12.2 and L7.4 B3 when I run a search on a morphological tag (@v for example) on the NA28 text, I can get a passage list, but when I try to change to the anaylsis view the program crashes as in just disappears. This doesn't happen when working with lemmas or in other greek texts (I've checked NA27, UBS5, SBLGNT). Bummer for me since I tend

  • Bible Word Study in 7.4 B3

I can't run a Word Study on macOS (10.12.2) L7.4 B3. Using a right click on any word from NA28, selecting a lemma then Bible Word Study, the program crashes. Likewise, if I try to past in a lemma in an open Bible Word Study window, the program crashes. I've attached the logs. 1411.LogosLogs.zip

  • Re: 7.4 B2 Morph Search Crash

Dave, Yes, I had what was a butchered search in there at one time. However, after closing all windows and running a fresh query with an empty search input field, the crash still happens.

  • 7.4 B2 Morph Search Crash

Every time I try to move from some other type search to a Morph search by clicking the Morph in the search dialogue 7.4 B2 crashes. I've changed layouts and tried this with no open windows and the crash happens regardless. 7245.Archive.zip

Its back to a very very long wait for the morph query interface to build itself on the latest beta running on macOS 10.12 . 2. Over a minute on my last try.

  • Re: Proclaim crashes

Scott, Proclaim is running on a stock Mac mini about a year old. It is configured just as Apple shipped it, hard to do much with RAM these days in most Apple products. It is fully patched, but not running any beta software that I know of. I'm controlling Proclaim with a new wireless remote (Logitech R800). The pace of slide changes may not have mirrored

  • Proclaim crashes

In working through out Christmas Eve service this morning (after the most recent update), Proclaim crashed twice. If that happens Christmas Eve it won't be good. I assume I need to remove all the embedded videos and run them locally and change the video song backgrounds to images. I know it's a lot of video for a single service, but surely its doable

  • Re: Local Remote Still Unstable

As I look at a busy weekend coming up....are there any changes forthcoming or should I assume the same set of tools I had last week? I may structure my notes / slides to assume problems with local remote. I've done all I can to settle down the wireless.

  • Local Remote Still Unstable

Yesterday, the iOS remote app still struggled with remote control. It disconnected multiple times in the first quarter of the service. Once I changed away from using the local connection it was stable through the rest of the service. Is the instability here tied to our local network or is it Proclaim related? Attached find our logs.

  • Another terrible very bad awful iPad remote app week with Proclaim

We had yet another very bad experience with the iOS remote app yesterday. On the 3rd, the app simply crashed when launched. Yesterday that only happened three or four times. Once we did get it launched and connected to the Proclaim program using the local network, we had a series of error messages about not being able to change slides, then the remote

  • Re: Sync error

Glenn, The DiagnosticReports directory is empty (or the files are hidden). This is a mac we only use on Sundays for AV work, so if we were supposed to turn on diagnostic logging, I'm sure that hasn't happened. I don't particularily remember a crash on the 30th at 7 pm (I don't know why I would have been playing with Proclaim on that machine on Wednesday

  • Sync error

We're getting a consistent error about 1 item that does not sync. Since we copy services over from one week to the next, it's been going on for a while now. I don't see any way to tell what specific item is causing the problem, is there any way to solve the error short of starting with a blank service next week?

In playing with it for a few minutes this morning, this is much better. We've also done a lot of work with our wireless network in the sanctuary, so I have high hopes for this weekend.
