I have developed the same problem but think it started after I updated my OS to 10.6.4. Can't swear by this but think it's right. A22.1 did not initially crash when quitting. First, I tried to rename the Wiersbe resources, taking out the apostrophe. No luck there. Then I discovered that I have at least one other resource in my prioritized list with an apostrophe (Harper's

I'll ask Tommy

  • Sync Problem

There has been a long-standing problem with me syncing Wiersbe's resources between my computer, but the problem has been exacerbated in A21. Below is a screenshot of what my prioritized resources should look like: Please note the highlighted resource. Wiersbe's "Be" series (the Bible Exposition Commentary) correctly displays 12 vols. and the expository
You're not stupid. The reading plan you see for the ESV was probably created either on the Windows version (if you have it) OR the iPhone app. Because you already have at least one reading plan, the tool doesn't prompt you to create one. If you had zero reading plans, it would suggest that you "start today" using your
If you have zero reading plans currently, it the homepage tool will offer to create one for you. If you already have one or more reading plans, it won't, unfortunately.
Thanks for the quick response. I am feeling exceedingly stupid right now. By "offering to create [a reading plan] for me," is there a visual prompt

  • Re: When Yearly Bible Reading Plan Function For Mac?

Cameron (or anyone who can answer this), I typed in "create a reading plan" in the search field and got the "We haven't yet finished..." message. Next I created the string, "read the bible in a year" and got nothing. How exactly do we create a plan for our preferred bible (and should the check box be jumping around in the tool on the hompage when I

  • Re: Non-Contiguous Passages

Hi MJ. This is in response to both you and Jack, who said that, "I believe the best way to accomplish this would be to open a PG and conduct the search from there." You are both correct. I was looking at the lectionary for 1/10 and sure enough we have another non-contiguous passage (bless the RCL's pointy little head). So I created a new passage guide

  • Re: Non-Contiguous Passages

Hi Robert. No, you were not way off. I muddied the waters by giving an imprecise analogy with Google and you were very helpful in talking about search algorithms. Hopefully someone will be able to clarify whether the non-contiguous passage with the passage guide is a bug report or feature request. I'll shut up until I get some clarification. Again,

Good response on my behalf, Joe. Thank you! Did I mention to Jack that Anglican priests aren't very smart, either?

  • Re: Non-Contiguous Passages

Thanks for this, MJ. If this is true, then my original concern turns out to be a feature request and not a bug report.

Hi Robert. Yes, I see that, but it seems to me these are two separate issues and I wish I had not used it as an example in my previous post because it is confusing the issue about which I originally posted. As Michael helpfully pointed out, what I am looking for is for Logos to produce a passage guide when I search for non-contiguous passages from the

Yes indeed, Robert. Your post is very helpful. Thank you. I am not, however, connecting the dots between using relevant search criteria and having Logos produce passage guides for non-contiguous passages.

Thanks for this, Michael. I see and agree. In fact, I did exactly what you recommended, but your suggestion still remains only a workaround to a problem that exists. Perhaps that is the way it must be--only the developers know how many millions of lines of code would be needed to do this--but it sure would be nice if Logos could interpret non-contiguous
