• Re: BDAG Still not included in Gold Edition?
I love Libronix, but this borders on the ridiculous.
I don't quite follow your suggestion. Are you saying you would like Logos to give you BDAG for free because you purchased Scholar's Gold and thought it was included? Or they should sell it to you at a discounted rate because you think it should be included? Just
While I like the information available in the pop ups while hovering over a word in my bible, it's really tough on the eyes for someone my age.... would it be possible to visually separate it from the text via size, color, or both?
Great suggestion. I vote for the shaded version...

  • Re: Search Freezes Logos - Is this common?

Sure enough - I get the same behavior. I have really stopped using 1.2.2 and have opted to run Logos 4 under Fusion. I have not had it crash yet and really enjoy the new features. I am waiting for feature parity on the Mac side before I start seriously using Logos 4 for Mac (currently in Alpha testing).

  • Re: Theological Journals by Galaxie Software

I got an email from Galaxie this week and they have TJL 12 working for version 3, but are having some trouble getting it to work with version 4 (not sure what the problem is). As soon as those kinks are worked out, it will be for sale on their website.

  • Pre-pub delays

Anyone know why the pre-pub date for certain publications (like two new additions to the NAC) keep getting pushed down the road. A few weeks ago, on the date they were due, the date suddenly was changed to today. When I checked my orders today, now it says 12/9/09. I'm not complaining, but just trying to see if there is anything definitive about these

  • Re: Indexing differences between SR-7 and Beta 2
Mine are identical between the two.
I think I figured it out. I had re-indexed the entire SR-7 machine a week ago (which I forgot about), but never did it with the Beta 2 machine because of fear of the "merge" problem. I think once this is fixed in B3, they should be the same. Thanks for your help!

  • Indexing differences between SR-7 and Beta 2

Quick question. My Beta2 version of L4 automatically downloaded new resources recently and created a supplemental index. My SR-7 version of L4 downloaded the new resources and also created a supplemental index. However, when I do a basic search for "propitiation" on both, I get different hit counts. For example, in B2, I get 311 results in 198 articles
I had 2 GB download and now it is re indexing...with 8 hours remaining! Does it always have to reindex after a download?
I got bit by this too... I didn't read the forum before I told B2 to start downloading. Now it is re-indexing (14 hours remaining)... EDIT: It actually only took 30 minutes to complete the re-indexing
Have three options for internet syncing: 1) Auto syncing (this is the current default) 2) Syncing when the program starts and closes 3) Manual syncing
+1

  • Bug or Feature? Show/Hide on Passage Guide

I usually run the Passage Guide with all subcategories closed (hidden) for speed purposes. Then, I only open (show) those categories that I am interested in for a particular passage. I have noticed that occasionally when I attempt to open (show) a category such as "My Content" or "Music" and there is nothing to show for the particular search in question

  • Re: BDAG Lexicon Greek index
In Bauer's Greek Lexicon (BDAG), I am surprised that I cannot enter a word in transliteration and have the appropriate Greek words appear for me to choose from as you can for a morphological search. I tried entering the word with "g:" before it and it still did nothing. There is the same limitation with the Hebrew-Aramaic

  • Re: What no Black Friday Sale???
I've seen this phenomenon in a few resources, and it's unfortunate, because if I could get those references at a reasonable price from Logos, I would.
Matt, If you happen to be eligible for academic pricing, these two volumes are quite a bit cheaper ( http://www.logos.com/academic/program).
I've just noticed that Logos 4 in my computer, quad core with 8 gigs, gets unbearably slow, almost non-responsive, after the computer is woken up from sleep.
I noticed the same thing on my Win XP laptop. If I hibernate or sleep with Logos open, Logos is almost totally non-responsive when I resume. I always have to
I was just wondering...it seems like this is VERY responsive....instant bible word studies....quick exegetical guides....very snappy....
Yes, it does seem more peppy. For example, the home screen "slides away" quicker when I open something.
