• Re: Logos 8 Support Ending
Question: If a resource requires Logos 9 [or latter] and we are running logos 8 [or earlier ] will FL tell us when we try to buy that resource that it will not run on our current system? [Or do they just let us buy something we can not, currently, use?]
If I remember correctly, didn't Logos give a warning on the web
It's frustrating that the PC Health Check tool just tells me my computer can't run Windows 11 but doesn't tell me why. Just reading the system requirements as I understand them it looks like my computer is compatible so I wonder what the limitation is. Larissa Johnson had a blog post that gave a few examples of why he prefers to use a physical Bible over an app. It might not be as in depth as you are looking for though. Link: https://biblestudy.tips/physical-bible/

If I paid thousands of dollars up front to attend church and the pastor kept putting offering parts in front of me, I'd probably find another church.

On more thought, I think that for me, it is the image of a shopping cart that I feel irritates me the most. In Libronix it was just the image of a lock that simply said "Unlock". I know this sounds pitiful and that its probably just me but my brain translates the shopping cart the same way it translates spam emails. Always, trying to get me to buy something
Not true. Look at the screenshot I shared. It was both in the Tools menu and on the main toolbar.
I see it now, my bad. But, I still believe it is overkill.
Fun fact: this was a part of the toolbar in Libronix two decades ago: https://blog.logos.com/how_to_unlock_locked_resources/ . As far as I know, no one seemed to mind then.
To me, there is a big difference in how it was implemented. In Libronix, it was under the "Tools" menu. You had to click to get there

  • Possible Wrong Title

Today, a WordSearch resource updated in my Logos library. It is titled "Life Application Study Bible (3)". In my WordSearch program this resource is titled "Life Application Outlines". It's type is listed as a Study Bible but, to me, that doesn't really fit. So, I have three questions: 1. Why the '3' in the title? 2. Should the actual title be "Life

Thanks Kyle. The resource title updated but the citation is still incorrect. I copied the citation and it still reads: Zodhiates, S. (1997). 4AD206E1-44A8-4AA2-9C73-92A9456BD075. Chattanooga, TN: AMG Publishers. I just thought you might want to know. Thanks.

  • Incorrect Resource Title

Zodhiates Corinthians Commentary Series downloaded to my Logos today and one of resources has an incorrect title. The title should be "Accommodating Christians: An Exegetical Commentary on First Corinthians Ten". Instead the title is "4AD206E1-44A8-4AA2-9C73-92A9456BD075". I thought it might have been a download error, so I went through the process
