I agree that Faithlife Assistant would be a value added tool IF fully developed, however, Faithlife doesn't have a consistent track record in this area. I am concerned about, Once committed to the task of said development, what other more frequently used existing tools or features that need completion or updating, etc. will suffer because Faithlife simply
That’s the big problem with uptake of this tool - it’s buried in the Tools menu rather than being visible on the Toolbar. To me if FL truly backed this feature they would have put it on the toolbar and not hidden it in the Toole menu. It’s has the potential to be so much more than a ‘Tool’.[/quote
Is this what you see? When you click the icon, that style should be applied to the selected text.
Thank you Dave. Yes, that is what I see and click on, but it does nothing. I just retried applying a highlight directly from the highlight tool itself but it no longer works either. Could this be a Windows 11 thing?

  • Highlighting-Can't apply highlight from context menu

Hi everybody I thought this was discussed in these forums but I can't find it. Please help me figure this out. I select text in any resource and the little menu pops up to apply last used highlights, I tried selecting any of the choices but nothing happens. No highlighted text, no highlight note doc, nothing. When I click the three dots in that little

  • Re: Searching for notes by Bible reference in the Notes Tool

Thanks for the reply MJ. It seems I can search from the notes toolbar by a word or phrase in a note and it will appear, but what doesn't seem to work is the use of a Bible verse. I discovered Sermon Builder's search for a note has the same issue. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional at this time. Hopefully someone will confirm one way or another

  • Searching for notes by Bible reference in the Notes Tool

Is it possible to search in the Note Tool for a bible reference that is within a note, using the search box in the Notes toolbar? Example; I've tried searching for Mark 11:1-11 but it returns every note I have for Mark and I must scroll through them all to find 11:1-11. Thank you for any help with this
