I thank the posters in this thread for your helpful comments about the Barclay series. Your reflections were a principal influence in my decision to make the pre-pub purchase.... I guess Logos thanks you, too. Bill

[quote user="Ted Hans"]I agree David. How does this help Logos if those who are not willing to part with so much of their cash are saying bring it on when they will not make many purchases. Those who want to make a purchase (part with their cash) should be given due consideration as to how realistic it is to be faced with large volumes of items all

David, It often happens that many items I want are "on sale" simultaneously across the E-Commerce universe. Part of me wishes I could afford all of them, but then reality kicks in and I accept my limitations. I don't expect e-tailers to reduce the frequency or quality of their sales just because I can't afford everything I want. The people who benefit

[quote user="MJ. Smith"] Dear people of a certain behavior. I say behavior not beliefs because behavior is what is relevant to these forums. Your behavior is counterproductive - in an attempt to point out or convince people that a doctrine or group is Unchristian, you instead turn them away from listening to you. Your behavior implies that you cannot

Reading this thread prompts two Scripture passages to my spirit. The first is 1 Corinthians 1.10-17, where Paul chides Christians for the divisions among them that are grounded in misguided loyalties. In this thread, people display loyalty to their tradition, to their theology, to their hermeneutics, or to their.... And that wouldn’t be a bad thing
