I don't have an iPad, but this sounds like the answer to your question http://ipod.about.com/od/iphonetroubleshooting/f/icons_shaking.htm
Yep, that's it, spot on. No defect, just Apple's way of letting you move icons around. It happens when you hold down on one icon for a few seconds. Either slide the icon to a new

One new one for me that I have to add is SoftSign. I've been using it a lot in the last few days, as it let's me annotate and sign PDF documents. This has completely changed the way I do some work. It's great as Ive been away from home and documents that need my signature sent to me. Where I get sent Word docs instead of PDFs I've also found the Save2PDF

  • Re: iPad or Mac Air if $$$ Not an Issue?

Is it too obvious to say "if money's no object, then why not both"? I have a MB and an iPad and since getting the iPad I rarely use the MB. The portability and ease and speed of use make it my primary computer. Ok, for "heavy" stuff I still use the MB but the iPad is what I take to church and use out and about and around the house.
Bottom line is, I heard that iOS 5 will make Safari compatible with the rich text editor being used for the forums, so I'm looking forward to that. Hope it won't be too much longer. Peter
That will be nice.

  • Re: Logos Forums on the iPad
Found a slightly easier way: Use the tag, and it will preserve the line breaks. But you have to be careful with the symbols. Hope this helps. Peter
Trouble with that is although line breaks are preserved (as are spaces), all text in a pre element is displayed in a fixed-width font (usually Courier), and so it looks rubbish
How do you put in line breaks when using the "HTML" option? I find that multiple lines are stringed together when returning from the HTML window, unless I manually put in for line breaks (and is a pain to type on an iPad). Is there an easier way? Thanks, Peter
There isn't an easier way. You're in an HTML editor and that

  • Re: Best computer to run Logos 4

If you just want to run Logos, then as much as it pains me to say, I would go down the PC rather than Mac route. I have never had Logos run as quickly on my Mac as on my old Dell. It's improving but still struggles, despite having a reasonable Mac on which everything else flies. Sadly Logos doesn't. I did think about running Logos under Parallels, as

Must admit, I've never really thought the few extra "steps" needed to post to the forums with Safari on an iPad so intrusive to warrant spending money on a dedicated forum reader. Ok, so I'm a hard up, money pinching, soon to be student again without two brass farthings to rub together but is the HTML route really that onerous? I think I'd find an app

I have an iPad2, which I bought more or less because of Logos. Well, not strictly true but it was one of the influencers. However, in answer to your question, I read a lot on it and love it. Yes, sunlight is a pain and is best avoided (not really an issue in the UK, and I do most (all) of my reading inside anyway) and it does get a bit cumbersome after

I'm not sure what version you're using but the one I have reopens books where I left off. I can read a book, go to another then go back to my original book and it will open at the page I last read. A sort of auto bookmark. The favourites issue has a few shortcomings as far as I'm concerned. Firstly you need to be online for it to work and secondly it
