• Re: password not accepted

I just tried to update Logos on a desktop machine where I rarely use it and my password was rejected. I can still sign in to my account on the logos.com site.

Got this when I downloaded the new NAC: Hebrews. I assume the 4.3 update came in at the same time. Everything seems to work normally though.
Agreed. I would also like to be able to "lock/unlock" the collection editor. Locking would collapse the rule, naming, and exception fields and prevent manipulating the contents of the collection. You could also call it "edit mode". Whenever you open the collection editor it is in viewing mode and you have to select "edit

  • BUG? Can't run concurrent sessions of L4 as different users

I run R7 in my own account (w/ admin privileges) and installed the B1 in another regular account on the same machine. I thought that when I had B1 installed, I could have L4 running on both accounts at the same time, though I don't remember for sure. I installed B2 the other day and found that with one install running, the other one would fail to start

  • Re: How did you find out about Logos?

I had tried a couple of the freeware packages as well as the pre-Pradis version from that 'other' Bible software maker. Most had varying levels of frustration attached. Then I had my first taste of 2.x when my wife gave me the collected works of Oswald Chambers for my birthday. It's a big mule-choker of a book that also had a CD with all the books in

We also have Boxing Day in the US but but we call them clearance sales. I think the trend has grown for Black Friday sales as a way to prime the consumer pump for the holiday shopping season.

The only shopping I did yesterday was a run to the hardware store for repair
The difference is you bought multiple Bibles but only one Logos license. I re-read the original post and I am disturbed by this statement: "For example, many people have children and had no problems installing Logos 3 for them. Everything they did on that machine was their own problem so to speak. We simply installed the
If you ever go into a Christian bookstore and hand your child a Bible off the shelf and, using this same argument, try to walk out of the store without paying, let me know. I want to watch what happens. Your argument doesn't hold up.
No, but the whole DRM thing is slipperier than that. I can go to a bookstore
Would it be enough if we just adopt the background color you've set for windows in Windows itself, or do we need "local" control specific to Logos?
I think local control would be most useful to me. I would ask for more color control over more of the UI too. The pastel on pastel trend is not helping the aging-eye
I'm 100% behind this. Being able to put something like collection:theology into the Library box would be advantageous.
I do miss the pulldown from the v3 library. I don't always remember what all my collections are called. I don't like using the Collection pane because it is always in an active editing state -
The good news is that if you load L4, and L3, sync your licenses in L3 - than in the L3 license report the L4 sources will show up. It isn't elegant, but it works.
Does the L3 license report inspect the L4 resource directory? If so, that would be a functional workaround.
The system tries to automatically put similar resources together in tiles. A) The Passage Guide in 3.0 had its own private logic that "forced" commentaries into the lower right window, and forced replacement over opening another window. We did not do that in 4.0 because we thought the new tab system made it less important
Yes, I think I see what people are referring to as speed, by searching for one item. But, my notice of slowness, is when using the Passage guide (And, it searches through all unlocked resources, this really takes time...) L4 runs OK, except for the evidently massive search for a passage. This was rather slow in L3, but
