How in the world do you manage a window popping up with 50 translations in it? I could see that many in the preferred list, but not the Text Comparison. I presume that means it is never in columns.....

Continuing on the reverse interlinear issue..... I was reading https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028307111-Using-Strong-s-Numbers and it shows the reverse interlinear as part of the ESV. My ESV doesn't show that. Are there different versions of the files that include or do not include that coding in the background? (Still can't figure this

  • Re: Welcome to the forums Wordsearch users

Many forums have a link or button that skips to the first unread post. I don't see that here, but if it is available, that would be great. It is easy to see which threads have new posts, but I find no hint if it is one new post or 10. That would really help (i.e., efficiency) in digesting all this new information. Am I missing something?

I may have got excited prematurely. I spent a few minutes reviewing the volumes I have in WS and quite possibly Romans is my only MacArthur commentary. I didn't go looking in other categories. I did spot one I use that is on the list to complete. But I also spotted some that are not in Logos and not on that list. Seems too early to start a "complaint

As a WS users I gain a "free" copy of Logos 8. I also have the opportunity to upgrade at a discount. What I can't tell is if this upgrade, or the other "levels" of Logos, actually change the product (i.e., add new capability) or simply provide a packaged expansion of the references (i.e., books) included. If it is just the references/books included

I found around 30 of mine - so about half. Some of the labeling is a bit different. I do not see The Message in my Logo library either. Nor do I see the New Century Version (NCV) [which seems a poor choice for study but I find it useful in devotions as a verse will hit me different when from such a moderate dynamic equivalent translation].

I saw another post where someone was requesting the Bible Book Explorer not be slanted to the Protestant view. I'm on the opposite side - I'd like to know how to restrict it to the 66 books that we recognize. Is there a setting or configuration someplace???

Rookie question on Notes. A notebook would contain a number of notes with anchors to various verses or passages. Where is the [presumed] setting that causes the notebook to automatically go to the note that is anchored on a verse when you jump to that verse? I'm finding I go to the next verse I need to work with, then I scroll through the notebook to

[quote user="Bradley Grainger (Faithlife)"] The MacArthur Bible Studies are not converted to Logos format yet. Most volumes of the MacArthur NT Commentary are already in Logos and unlocked for users. The exceptions are Matthew, Acts, and Romans; in Wordsearch, there was an individual ebook for each volume of those commentaries, but in Logos there is

I like to use WS during a class or sermon and take notes. I use a different notes file for each pastor rather than constantly noting the reference. (Just "class" for classes.) I assume we'll get our notes files eventually and they will become notebooks of notes. Feature: In that mode, when the speaker references a different verse, I just type an abbreviation

From what I can tell, none of John MacArthur's works have come over. It seems that my 1,250+ references in Wordsearch is now 877 in Logos. But looking at the author list in the Library, John MacArthur doesn't show up. I don't find
