You can choose from a number of icons to indicate the presence of a note, one of which is a link icon
Found it! And while I was there, I learned I can create another note for the same verse reference, change the icon, and now it shows two icons. Makes sense. Thanks! One other quickie: I said earlier that I'm not
But Clippings are better for study notes, even without exporting to Word for better formatting.
You just confirmed what I was thinking. I like the index-card look, and most importantly, being able to drag-and-drop them in the order you want, much like I do with documents in Scrivener. Thanks!

I've been using Logos 8 Desktop for about a month now and I want to make sure I have prioritized my Hebrew and Greek Bibles and Dictionaries optimally. I upgraded to the Silver Pkg, plus I already had things like the TWOT (see my screenshot below at the bottom). I'm also not sure if 1, I need to prioritize the Strong's Concordance, 2, do I need it along

I am struggling with the Logos Help. Is there a way to simply search WITHIN the Logos Help? I've not found it after a month of looking, first on Logos 8, now on Logos 9. Why I went to Help in the first place...what is a Bibliographic Item (shows under indexing in many of my resources in the Information panel)? Also, did Logos remove the quick access
It is on sale this month.
Thanks, Paul. IF I only had a spare $250 laying around...LOL! For now, I'll just use my Kindle version. I only have it for Gen 1-11, and I've not spent much time with it, which is what led to my question about the section in the Front Matter. I know $250 is a bargain, but I can't justify
No one outside of FL knows when that will happen.
So...FL if you're reading this, is there a list of resources yet-to-be-formatted that could be released to us former-WS users? A timeline would be great, but isn't nearly as important as simply knowing WHICH resources are in the queue. And if that's already available
Emoji and symbol fonts will let you insert a character that looks like a checkbox (with or without a check mark), but it won't be interactive. Another possibility is to post a suggestion that checkboxes are added to the Notes editor at Faithlife's Feedback site .
I did! Thanks, Petah!
Depending upon your learning style, this book is a good start for understanding ancient methods and how they differ from contemporary methods. Biblical Interpretation Then and Now: Contemporary Hermeneutics in the Light of the Early Church | Logos Bible Software
Looks like a great book! Thanks, M.J. I'll at least add
This isn't the final version and it's scheduled to be updated.
Great news, Kyle! Thanks! And no date is no problem! Patience is a "virch-me." Don't know what "virch-me" is? (And I'm spelling it to best represent the pronunciation.) Here's my quick version of the story: A mom, trying to instill godly character into

I'm starting to use Logos Notes a LOT instead of Evernote. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to create a checkbox within the note text. Short of creating my own workflow, which I really don't want to bother with, do any of you smarter-than-me people have any suggestions or perhaps a workaround? TIA
Great! Here’s the link so others can vote: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/add-checkbox-to-notes-text
You mean we can vote on suggestions or requests? I didn't know that. I guess I should spend some time looking at those boards so I can add my two penneth worth! Thanks, again
You can insert/paste this character: ☐ It won't work like an actual checkbox where you can click it to put an X in it. But at least it looks like an empty box. If you want a workaround to implement a functional checkbox substitute, insert [ ] and then put an X in there if you want to "check" the box.
Thanks, Rosie

Oops! I realize I said the same thing twice about the extra space. Sorry for not doing a better job of editing before posting this.
The forum rules get mentioned, after the coffee gets spilled.
Great way to put it. Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate you're input here. It's been helpful. Blessings!
I really like the Ancient Christian Commentary that you mentioned. I often have that in my layout along with some more current commentaries to take in different perspectives. I admire your will power by showing control in saying no to buying certain resources at this and instead sticking to a budget. That has been a weakness
if it is due to be converted
Thanks, Mike, but that's my primary question: IS it due to be converted? I don't know and would surely love to find out. As it is at the moment, it's almost impossible to use as a resource, and not just because it's not indexed by Day of the Year. I have other devotionals that are NOT indexed

I'm a newbie, learning Logos (formerly a WS user): In Streams in the Desert , the devotional for today was written by Will Hunt. As a Charismatic, his last paragraph grabbed my attention: "When the apostles received the baptism with the Holy Ghost they did not rent the upper room and stay there to hold holiness meetings, but went everywhere preaching

Sorry, should have been "Will Huff", not Hunt. I typed without double-checking.

Where's the "like" button? (Thanks for the clarification.)

Former WORDsearch user/current Logos Newbie here who loves Logos so much, I've already upgraded to the Silver pkg. So I have almost 1000 volumes in my library. Now, I'm trying to organize them for my studies. I've worked through 2 and a half days of MP Seminars' Camp Logos 8 (thank you, Morris Proctor!) in addition to pouring over more training in the
