In the Program Settings -->Accessibility--->Resource Panel Background.... there are options we can choose to make the background of Logos different colors. Personally I like the Gray background.... but when we set that... It only works for the currently opened windows. Future windows opened in Logos go back to having the white background. Is there

In WS... I believe the books, program, etc. that I had access to was downloaded on my pc. I don't know how FL works, but I believe it is not the same. All the monies and such that I spend on FL can be gone in a flash if I somehow loose my connection to FL... That is of concern to me.

In WS we could expand (+ icon) or decrease (- icon) ... the menu of most screens that had a menu on them. I miss it in Logos.

Yes those work.... This is the case (again) whereby I learn so much that I find out how dump I have become because of my forgetfulness. Thanks MJ.

With the recent "attack" on conservatives by the big tech companies... this discussion is interesting... I wonder how long it will be that people calling themselves "Believers" or "Christians" ... will be allowed to talk/discuss or share their faith over "Big Tech" companies part of the internet? Will we be labeled as "Hate Mongers" for teaching Romans

I came from WS and did not use L8 that long, but I did so to speak, cut my teeth on L8. Also, I am still a bit of a newbie and may not use L9 to the fullest yet. I find L9 to be quicker than L8. It just "feels" quicker and more responsive to me. If a program is not "responsive" and quick.. well, L8 just didn't feel that way to me. L9 does. It gives

Please consider putting "undo" on most, if not all, of the editable pages... like "Canvas"...

Interesting idea.... what would be nice if we were able to have a Bible note reference a Sermon Builder name or heading in the SB. For example... have a verse note in a Bible reference and then be able to add a link or anchor a heading in the SB. Linking information together like this would definitely help my memory.... But for now.... I could not make

Sorry, I didn't fully explain.... I've used WS for many years.... the keystrokes, etc are embedded in my mind from constant use.... So along comes Logos.... I've had Logos for about 6 months or so.... In Logos.. it's still me trying to figure things out.... while in WS... click click zoom done. It's the comfy of the old coat syndrome... while having

Thanks. I normally create SBs in Docs.... my bad.

I use Sermon Builder (SB) a lot for many different things. But try as I may, I have not found out how to use the SB template. I know I can click the Template icon in the information of SB... but what does that do? How do I reuse that template that I "think" I created? For example... I would like to have one template that I use for Bible class. Another

I am hoping that FaithLife will pick up Zipscript and keep it alive by making it part of Logos. I believe it will add usefulness to Logos. IMHO...

I have 16 gb of fast ram, ssd drive and Logos runs great. I also have a 8 gb 500 gb hard drive and Logos runs slower. I think Logos is a memory hog, meaning it loads a lot into ram. But I would not think that the ram could be so fast as to affect the working of Logos. The 32 gb you have should make Logos sing "Hallelujah". Having said that.... sounds

If you can get access to it.... I believe WordSearch Zipscript will work for you. You might try downloading the freebie of Wordsearch and with that you will get Zipscript. I use Zipscript all the time. If it disappears I will miss it something awfull.

I keep WS just because some things are quicker to do in WS. Hopefully one day, this will go away and I will feel I can do things just as quick in Logos. But I keep Zipscript... simply because there is nothing like it that will do all that it does. Quick, easy, simple.

I use two monitors. I have some layouts whereby I created my floating screens so that my Logos is split up between the two monitors and then I name the layout and update the layout. That way when I click on that layout... Logos jumps to life on both monitors.

Thanks! I did not know about Tools->History. Thanks for pointing it out!

terse is a form of smart mouth. It's sometimes like a verbal slap. It is never kind.

It doesn't hurt to be kind.

[quote user="MJ. Smith"] Do we really need such unfounded accusations? Wordsearch failed in the marketplace. Be glad that it was sold so that you aren't simply waiting for the value to disappear as has occurred with some other Bible softwares. You are not forced to switch immediately, you are simply given the opportunity to retain your value when and
