Update now gave me a download of 2.16 GB.
-
I don't know if this can be done in increments, but I have been using "update resources", and receiving 20 to 35 MB per download. I then repeat the process, and restart. I have restarted ewt 20 times so far.
-
I enter update resources, and Logos is downloading 20 to 32 MB per entry, and then restart.
. Again, as I repeat over and over , our only solid policy is doing the right thing for the customer , and these lightweight policies/guidelines that emerge organically over time are simply our team's response to abuse problems, and ways to 'call it out' in advance / provide a rule we can cite if/when we need to invoke it

This kills the desire to get resources in Logos. Logos as I understand it cannot be left to a church.
If you check the Logos webpage on the EULA you will find: A church or company may be the purchaser and thus legal owner of the license grant, but may only allow one human being to be the beneficiary

I'm in at $30.
My point is really not changed. Your original quote made it sound as if McGarvey was opposed to the "self-emptying" of Jesus concept described in Phil 2. I fail to see that in this material. His disdain is for those who would use that concept as an argument for limiting Jesus' divine knowledge, particularly his knowledge

The Church of Christ 2 volume set is in the pre-sinner set. It can be purchased individually.

The upgrade to Christian History Magazine is on pre-publication, and issue 106 features the Stone-Campbell Movement.

My church has a complete set of the Millennial Harbinger in their library, but I would prefer to see them in a Restoration Movement package.
-
We have copies of all the Millennial Harbinger in our church library, however I would prefer to see them in a Logos Restoration package.
-
James, thank you for starting this thread.

In your picture are you holding a puppy or is that a paratrooper's rig?

> Logos has done this with other groups, and so all we need to do is make suggestions, and then let them run with the ball. I do think we need to push for a Restoration package(s), and that so we do not get stuck only with resources from one of the preaching schools. I want to focus on Christ and not one of the 28 sects. I have a very large library

Mark and James, it's very obvious to me both of you are members of the churches of Christ. I have little use for liberalism or legalism, and I identify with those who love The Lord and His grace. I have been a Logos user since 1993, and I know Bob Pritchett. do you think we should form a group. I lean towards forming a Restoration Movement Group. I

Sorry DAL, but I do not believe churches of Christ identify with Jack Cottrell or Everett Ferguson.>> i have been been a member of the Church of Christ for over 40 years, and am shocked to hear Churches of Christ do not identify with Ferguson. I suppose we are going to vote McGarvey out too.

Okay, where is the super programmer who has already written the program for importing a copy of our library into Excel? Bob, you need to fire that attorney who is dragging his feet on the new EULA.
I do agree advanced planning is required ... again and again
I agree, a new EULA will be just fine.
OT but somewhat relevant. A poet friend just celebrated his 80th birthday quipped that he didn't know what to do as everyone knows the best poets die young. I pointed out that my mother who wrote poetry in her younger days has switched her creative efforts to writing her 100th birthday speech imparting wisdom gleaned over the
