  • Re: Rice Haggard: AN ADDRESS TO THE Different Religious Societies ON THE SACRED IMPORT OF THE Christian Name.

Todd: I am glad that that resource is one that you are able to access audibly. It is actually a .docx format and not a .pdf as you said. I posted the Declaration and Address back in 2011 (Really?? It's been THAT long??? Wow.) https://community.logos.com/forums/p/37781/282947.aspx#282947 If you cannot get it to work let me know and I can upload the file

Thanks MH! (As usual). I had dispaired of finding a feasible answer but your work around appears to work well. Thanks.

  • Finding an article which appears in a large compilation

Maybe this is a foundational PB question that I missed along the way, but I am wondering if it is possible to have articles within a bigger work show up in my library listing. Several times I have come across an article that I wanted and so figured I would create in in PB format. I looked at my library under the author (and/or title) and it was not

Rosie: Wow. Free no more. My dynamic price is $902.96. Probably not. Especially for resources which may not be error-corrected or formatted.

  • Re: If this is of any use - a list of untagged Bibles in my collection

MJ: Perhaps I am confused as to what this post is. Are these PBs that are untagged? If I click on them I get a notice that I don't own them. If I right click the hyperlink and try to save them, the whole page of your post saves in html instead. Can you share how we should use this excellent list? Thanks.

Dominic-I have been thinking in recent months that there hasn't been an update of this grouping from you for quite some time. It did my heart good to see this. Thanks!

  • Re: Ray Ortlund’s Notes on the Bible

Brad: It's really your choice. I put them both into one PB, but as a part of my testing them, I also compiled them individually and that would work, too. It is really up to you. The title of Week 39 is repeated (Zech 10-14 and Malachi in the OT file and Matthew 1-15 in the NT file) if you compile them into one book. But that's what I chose to do anyway

  • Re: Ray Ortlund’s Notes on the Bible

Liam et.al-- I am not sure whether to put it here or in a new thread, but here is Ortlund's Old Testament material. I have followed the continuation of using the weeks as the major headers and the rest of the headings all as secondary headings because that is how it appears in the originals. It is a bit more confusing that way than arranging it solely

  • Re: David Chilton´s Days of Vengeance and Dias de Retribución

Tom: I presume that you have permission from David Chilton (or more likely Dominion Press) to put this (and other GaryNorth, com materials) into Word/Logos format? Just because a book is free to download and read on the internet does not mean that we are free to put it in a different format and distribute on other sites without permission. The copyright

  • Re: Index of Bible Studies

Richard: Thanks. But is there a reason why it has only shown up in Logos 8? The problem may have been around, but it is totally new to me. Admittedly I skipped Logos 7 (not a decision I have ever regretted) and upgraded from Logos 6 to 8, but 2011 seems before Logos 7 was released (Aug. 2016 as I recall...with help from Google).Looks like the problem

  • Recurring compilation problem

This is a recurring problem for me. Whenever I need to recompile a resource (which used to generally go smoothly), it will now not compile. I get this message: [Error] Error while building book: Could not remove existing resource. Please close all other open panels and try again. Closing all the other panels makes no difference. Recompilation is often

  • Re: Index of Bible Studies

Thank you so much for your work on this. The file produced from the .exe file will make this resource much more usable. I had, however, two compilation problems: 1. [Error] Font 'Calibri Light' is not a valid font for use in resources. 2. [Warning] Unknown data type in use: topic+topics The font problem is easy to fix. (or seemed to be). I searched

  • Help with Another Error problem

I'm not sure whether this is the problem that Bruce Denning asked about earlier in this forum, but I don't think it is. Ever since upgrading to Logos 8, whenever I try to re-compile a book I get an error message.(The error message I get is pasted below). Closing all of the open panels on my desktop does NOT make any difference. The only way to recompile

  • Re: What are the copyright rules?

I believe you would need express (read: written) permission to do so. As the author he holds copyright and it cannot be reproduced without his permission. If he is deceased, permission would either need to come from his heirs or wait until something like 75 years after his death.
