While you're at it, it would be great to allow a shortcut key for the erase highlight function.

It works fine for me. I don't think its possible to control the speed of the voice if that's what you are referring to.

  • Re: wish list issue

To remove an item from the wish list, hover the cursor over the item and a cross will appear in the top left-hand side of the item's box. Clicking that cross will remove the item.

  • Re: SUGGESTION: NIV Application Old Testament - Add the rest of the Old Testament Commentaries

Great suggestion! I've purchased the OT prophet series and am contemplating purchasing the NT series this month. It would be great to have all the commentaries in this series available in Logos. Presumably, Zondervan calls the shots though.

  • Re: Are you going to buy The Works of Jonathan Edwards (29 Vols.)?
You could spend $2500 on the Christmas Sale and get a credit that would purchase the Edwards works.
Nice strategy, but unfortunately it won't work! The fine print states that Logos credit cannot be currently used to purchase prepubs. So you'd need to spend $5,870 this month and then wait until they come off prepub

  • Re: Black Friday Sale
Does anyone know what the regular Logos price is for the A.W. Tozer Collction?
It looks like the Tozer collection sold for $399.95 previously. So it's effectively a saving of 53% compared to its regular price. To check an earlier price on Logos, do a search on Google for the resource and look at the cached image

  • Re: Black Friday Sale
Am I missing something? Isn't the Black Friday sale price for the IVP New Testament Commentaries the same price that they always charge? Now that is sneaky. Or perhaps I am in error?
Judging from the page cached on Google for the IVP New Testament Commentaries they previously cost $269.95. If that is the case,

  • OT: Excellent series of videos on textual criticism from CSNTM on iTunes U

For anyone interested in the field of textual criticism, Daniel B. Wallace of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts has produced an excellent series of videos on the subject. They are available for free on iTunes U: http://itunes.apple.com/us/institution/center-for-study-new-testament/id416966041 Highly recommended viewing!

  • Re: HD automatic defragmentation
The single biggest help you can give Logos is extra RAM. If you have some spare cash, it's much more worth spending it there than on defragging software. I would recommend a minimum of 1 Gb RAM for every 1,000 books that you own (although if you're not using 64-bit Windows, there's little point having more than 3Gb). Although

  • Re: "Biblical Theology" - Definition

I'd also recommend the New Dictionary of Biblical Theology (it's part of the IVP Reference Collection) http://www.logos.com/product/8588/the-essential-ivp-reference-collection-version-3#012 It has a good introductory article about Biblical Theology.

Thanks for providing this PBB, Jerry. I'm currently reading about the dispensationalism vs. covenant theology so this resource will be useful.

  • Favourite collections

I've been gradually working my way through the Camp Logos videos (which are really excellent and are well worth the investment in time and money). I've now got the hang of making collections and I can see how useful they are for searches. I've had a go at making of few of my own simple collections, but I'm now seeking inspiration for generating other

Welcome to the Forums, Doug! I observe the same thing (although with much smaller numbers: 34 -> 7 in my case). But if you disregard it and continue typing the full rule the number of resources will change accordingly (e.g., "title:history OR title:church" gives me 86 resources).

  • Changing Greek font of reverse interlinears

Is it possible to change the Greek font displayed in reverse interlinears? I can change the Greek font of other resources in the Program Settings dialog box, but it doesn't appear to change the font of reverse interlinears. Does anyone know of a way to do this as I'm not a big fan of the default font?

  • Re: PBB: Jonathan Edwards, An Unpublished Essay on the Trinity

Thanks so much for providing that, Andy. This essay was John Piper's first introduction to Jonathan Edwards. He writes: "I recall the day in class when Fuller was accused of being too rational by a student from the new school of psychology. Fuller responded by saying, 'Why can't we be like Jonathan Edwards, who in one moment could be writing a devotion

I have the Logos collection of Edward's works and the essay on the trinity does not appear to be in it. I did a search for the opening phrase "It is common when speaking of the Divine happiness" and it wasn't giving me any hits.
