I am having a similar (the same?) issue with the search feature. I have rebuilt the index and rebuilt the index for just my preferred Bible (ESV) without resolving the issue. I can perform a search within the open ESV and obtain the expected hits. Similarly, if I do a Basic Search for text in the ESV I get a similar result (there are some differences

  • Re: Personal Library

It is my understanding that the only way to add non-Logos books is through the "Personal Book Builder" process. That involves compilation in Logos from a MS Word format document. (see discussion at https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books ) There are many personal books which users have made available linked from that wiki page or at https://wiki.logos

  • Printing Oddity - Revised Common Lectionary

When I print from the Revised Common Lectionary the Gospel does not print. This is true whether I select the text directly or if I choose the section. The other readings print without any problem. The reference (Luke 23:33-43 for example) prints but not the actual text. I see this behaviour with the ESV and NIV, I have not tried other versions. I can
Does anyone have this book, by James VanderKam? It does not appear the Dead Sea Scrolls links work - I thought they used to, but now they don't. The Bible links work though. For example, on page 154, there are links 4Q252, 4Q225-227, 4Q228, etc. The cursor changes to a hand, but no popup bubble like with the Bible links

Proper (liturgy) , the part of a Christian liturgy that is specific to the date within the Liturgical Year That is what Wikipedia says. It gives a structured set of readings (and certain prayers and other parts of the liturgy) in an ordered way. The Propers apply to "ordinary" Sundays but can be changed by special days ... Christmas, Easter ..... The

I think you are looking at the Lectionary on the Ribbon .... at the moment they are only for Sundays and other "major" days. If so what you are seeing is correct

The Anglican Church of Canada has recently posted its Book of Common Prayer and Book of Alternate Services on the web in pdf format. The link is http://www.anglican.ca/resources/texts/index.htm Both have lectionaries (daily and for Sundays). Please read the licence agreement before using them.
FIRST: is there a way to create a collection of books (or a bibliographic report of books) not included in any collection? (If my memory is not completely gone, I vaguely remember being able to do that in Logos 3.)
One way to make a collection of resources not in another collection would be to start with a rule

These appear to be two different sets of commentaries from Cornerstone. The 9 volume set (which should be the one you have) covers Genesis, Exodus; Job, Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs; Isaiah, Jeremiah & Lamentations; Hosea - Malachi; Matthew and Mark; Luke and Acts; John and 1,2,3 John; Romans and Galatians; Ephesians, Philippians, 1&2 Thessalonians
In some ways, it's up to you. If you value front-list titles enough to pay front-list prices, we'll sell them. If you'd rather pay back-list prices for back-list titles, we'll stop offering these fresh titles and sell just back-list. This is an experiment. If you think the full-retail price for a Baker title is too much

I guess what was/is confusing to me is not that there is the 1st and 2nd edition of Esther included in the collection, but that two commentaries on two different books have the same volume number. Kidner, D. (1979). Vol. 12 : Ezra and Nehemiah: An Introduction and Commentary . Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries. Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity Press
