• Collections and SR3

I did the update to SR3 and the resource update last night. This morning when I went to use my collections they are gone. While this may be an opportunity to better organize what I have set up as collections, I was very surprised by this result. Has anyone else experienced this? (I recall something like this during the L4 beta testing, but nothing similar

  • Re: Any LibraryThing users out there?

I have just started to use LibraryThing. I used the bibliography workaround at http://www.4-14.org.uk/off-topic/logos4-bibliographic-report to create a list which I uploaded. It was not perfect .... no ISBN, but was an interesting effort. I still need to get my print library into the system .... so many things I plan/want to do ..... so little time

  • Re: Canadian custom duties on software

From what I can tell from the internet and my experience there should be no Excise or Duty on US software imported into Canada. The GST (5%) and PST apply. The carrier may charge a brokerage fee.
would like to see the current BCP in Logos. The listings in the Daily Office could be used to generate a lectionary for every day rather than simply for Sunday.
I too would like a daily lectionary and the services contained in the Anglican service books tavailable in Logos, but that is not simple request. While I

  • Re: Relationships of various Christian groups

Thanks for sharing this. I find it interesting and helpful. I acknowledge that labeling people has many problems, but understanding history and relationships has benefits too. If you are willing to share, I would be interested in seeing how you grouped your resources/theologians. Obviously the chart is a "big picture". It would get overly complex if

  • Re: Roman Catholic Resources

Anglicanism has traditionally descried itself as the via media, middle way, between Protestantism and Roman Catholicism. Anglicanism is not a confessional denomination. Anglicans encompass a broad spectrum of viewpoints (read theologies). These include evangelicals and Anglo-Catholics. Some would happily describe themselves as Protestants, others less

  • Re: Library Searching

I think that much of what you are asking has been talked about in various places in the forum. I have seen most of it in connection with collections. Near the bottom of this Wiki page http://wiki.logos.com/Collections there is a listing of the filterable fields and examples of various rules. These should work in the Library search. The Library Tutorial
